Jesus was not a human acting like God. Jesus was God made like a human.

Hebrews 2:17
For this reason he had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.


Jesus was found in the appearance of a man.

Philippians 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death-- even death on a cross!

If Jesus was just a man, why is it so remarkable that he was found in appearance as a man?

Man cannot become God.

The Almighty God can become as a Man.

Malachi 3:6
For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Out-of-context proof text. Nothing God said limits what He can/cannot do. God does not change His nature that is why the sons of Jacob are not consumed.

I never saw Norah63 flame to any, but I will go back and see if I can pick up what you refer to. I have always found her testimony to be excellent on that score.

We are discussing what non Trinitarians believe and I never figured to see so many diversified views. That is what we ought then to discuss and in love to one another.

We are not that far apart here in this discussion so we need not get riled.

My view , which is my churches view, is one held by very few people I would think. Although parts of it are held by many.

Jesus is the result of God the Father creating a new human male seed that he used to fertilize Mary's egg with. Thus Jesus is 100 percent human in that the seed and egg that produced him are totally human. That is the part that few hold to. I think most people just have a vague idea or no idea how Jesus came to be. I mean they say stuff like Jesus is the word and the word became Jesus in Mary's womb, but how that happened, I don't see anyone explaining except to say Jesus pre existed, and then existed which is , on that point, no explanation.

Jesus is the literal son of God, because it was God who created the new human male seed that begat Jesus. Thus God literally begat Jesus.

Jesus and the Father are one, which doesn't mean they are each other. So to see Jesus is to see the Father, and thus one , in the spirit, will call Jesus God, because when one sees Jesus one sees God. The closeness of Jesus to God is partially responsible for the diversity of views on who Jesus is and who God is, IMO.

Aw, come on now, Mary knew that her child was special and she saw it early in him even as a baby. I would judge she knew better than any others.

It is your opinion that the truth offends her. Maybe it is you that when someone don't agree with you, you see them as too offensive.

Any discussion in which one don't agree and comes back to counter is a type of offense. But if it is in the right spirit that is what a discussion is about.

Here is a truth that will stand, "The Truth can stand investigation and Invites it!"

Let us therefore invite investigation of our views. It we find our view is not truth, the sooner the better and we should be glad and not mad.

We all have a spirit of defensiveness and actually that is self rising up of which as Christians must be kept killed.

Yes, it is a real battle in me and I know too many times I let ole man self rise up and in these discussions we must only counter with our understanding of the truth of the matter and at the same time weigh out in honesty the other's thesis.

If we are found wrong and see it, that is a blessing. The sooner we learn of where we are in error the better!
