I love the Tridentine Mass. :)
but doesn't the old catholics celebrate it? according to my friend, a priest in LCC, the old catholic mass is sometimes very protestant but more catholic than protestant masses if I understood him right.

Nowadays...the Old Catholic Church in the USA is so convoluted you never know actually. Some use the Latin Trindentine only, and some groups in the OC movement have made up their own liturgy. I would say that there are indeed some OC groups that have been heavily influenced by evangelical protestantism, but it's not that common.
I don't consider the Liberal Catholic Churches as being Old Catholic, they've really come into their own now. Both have the common foundation of having OC Apostolic Succession but that's about it.

The Mass celebrated by Matthew Arnold Harris, one of the pioneers of conservative Old Catholics ( he later dis-sociated from the Old Catholic Church as it was 'too liberal' in theology) was essentially the tridentine mass in English; it became the official Mass of the Polish Catholic Church and i visited a Polish Catholic Mass a few years back - it was 'tight', as in very orthodox..............but that is the exception. Many Old Catholic Churches are not tight but 'loose' , with liturgical novelty the standard.
You can find the Mass by Matthew Harris on E-bay...............:angel:
