What evidence? You haven't presented any. All you've done is try to claim that there's God-ordained gender differences that clearly establish one as a man or woman and nothing in between. I deny that such a thing exists. Since you're making the assertion, it's on you to support your affirmative claim, not on the one denying that there is any truth to your claim.

If I were in front of you claiming to be Chinese, you would certainly be within your rights to say I'm deluded without presenting any medical proof.

hmm I think the accepted definition of the two words seems to have been altered since I learned them many moons ago. Where I come from, sex has two meanings - it can refer to intercourse or it can refer to gender (ie: whether a person (or animal) is male or female (look at the equipment)). Relying on etymology when such a thing tells you the history of words doesn't help you know about their meaning today. Sex refers to biology. Gender is a social construct. As such, a person has every right to choose their gender. I aim for androgynous myself.

Now then, you said something to the effect of God having defined gender roles for male and female humans. Where is this written?

Generally speaking with transgender individuals, it's considered polite to refer to them by their desired pronouns/name; i.e., in the case of the OP, someone born male who feels he should be female, should be addressed by female pronouns.

Way to further degrade the man God created him to be.

Is it not possible that God may have created transgender people to be transgender? And that being the case, no degradation is involved.

All of us were "born this way" - ie: with a propensity to sin...

Is there any sin involved in a transgender person accepting and coming to terms with their transgender identity? I'm not convinced that it's particularly sinful, myself.

It is totally impossible for a trasgendered person to pretend they are the gender of their body. When they try to be, they come across and appear ridiculous to people. It is society that helps them make the decision to go get the sex-change operation.

Now a homosexual person can hide who they are and one would never know it unless they told you or you happened to catch them in it.

My best friend in the 80's was gay and only a few of us knew ( no one could tell ) sorry to say that he died from Aids.., I miss him very much.

Also since I have been doing some research, there are some very beautiful transgenders who have better taste in dressing than me...

Speaking of transsexual and transgendered individuals you should look into the Katoi of Thailand. There are so many cultures around the world who accept natural sexual ambiguity that it's kind of hard to turn a blind eye to our own rather narrow conception of male and female genders. I am convinced the two gender system is a huge disservice to society, and one that the church needs to hastily abandon.

It's far easier to pass if you are a child or pre puberty on hrt. (hormone replacement therapy) However I started when I was 25, been 6 months on hrt and i pass as female. What gives me away is my voice. I expect I will be completely passing in a year or so. It's not true that gays always are able to hide, if this were true there wouldnt be so many instances where they are beaten to death and called slurs by well I will call them douchebags.

Also the whole transsexuals are just really gay guys in hiding has got to stop. Even some of the Glbt community is passing this load around. My mind is female, my wife's mind is female. I just don't see it as we are too gay to come out...

If he ever left, I am going with him until I know he is ok. I hope it doesn't come to something like that.

Depends upon how you define "help". I really don't think it's a help to encourage people to believe their delusions, even if it makes life more comfortable.

Hmm, I don't think "being transgendered" is a sin. I don't believe it exists. Acting upon the lie and not upon the truth is aberrant, no matter what the subject is.

Gender identity is something that is internal, to the very core of ones being. You cannot see a persons gender identity, so you have no basis for saying it is a delusion.

Gender dysphoria is an extensively researched and documented condition where there exists a mismatch between the individuals sense of gender and their externally visible genitalia.

What evidence are we disregarding? The fact that the child is convinced she is a woman? What is your evidence to the contrary? Merely that you refuse to consider this could be a real condition?

Actually, there is more than one sense in which you could be Chinese, too. It doesn't necessarily mean your biological heritage. You might have been adopted by Chinese parents, or you might have married a Chinese man and moved to China. So, no, I don't think it would be within my rights to say you're deluded (at least in regard to your claim of being Chinese ) based solely on your appearance.
