Newly published excerpts from the purported diary of the trans-identified perpetrator behind the mass shooting at Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee, show perverse sexual fantasies, homicidal impulses and hostilities toward her parents' Christian beliefs.

In a lengthy X thread Wednesday, Daily Wire blogger Matt Walsh unveiled the contents of the diary belonging to Audrey Hale, the trans-identified shooter who killed six people at the Covenant School affiliated with the Presbyterian Church of America in March 2023.

Let me ask you, is the lesson we should take away from this that we need to be more accepting and inclusive of Transpeople and that this woman was driven to this violence because of the bigoted non acceptance of Christians? Is there room for nuance in understanding why this woman massacred these children specifically because they're Christian? Should Christians turn inward and ask themselves what they did wrong?

Of course, you see in that case it's one of "us" at fault and we know that all of "us" have different weaknesses and motivations. But "they" are all part of a hive-mind and the actions of one of "them" shows that we are justified in judging all of "them" and holding "them" accountable. Pretty basic stuff, here.

Now, right or wrong, the assumption is that the released information is why it was suppressed. There's also an assumption, right or wrong, that had it been someone who was straight and right-wing, it wouldn't have been suppressed at all.

Otherwise the speculation just seems to be a persecution complex.

In 1980, Ronald Crumpley, a Christian, Killed two and wounded six others at a gay bar in New York City
In 1997, Eric Rudolph, a Christian extremist, bombed the Otherside Lounge, a gay and lesbian bar in Atlanta injuring 5 people.
In 2000, Ronald Gay, a Christian, opened fire on the patrons of a a gay bar in Roanoke, Virginia killing one and injuring six others.
In, 2022, Juraj Krajcik, a Christian, killed two people and injured a third in a shooting at a gay bar in Bratislava, Slovakia.
