Touch Not My Anointed..a Question?

PSALM 105 verse 15 "Saying, Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm."

ACTS 5 verses 38, 39 "And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God."

In these two scriptures, I see that the LORD has issued a command(and a warning) concerning His prophets. This tells me that the LORD has a special hedge of protection around these individuals, and whoever tries to come against them are opposing God, and not the messenger.

This also tells me that the individual doing God's work is approved by God, and even though man may resist, the work can not be overthrown. From these scriptures, I believe God is telling His called messengers to keep on telling and that He will be with them, even though man may oppose. Their work will succeed.

Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

My only comment would be I agree, lol, I believe that when we turn our lives over to God that nothing happens that is outside of His Will. SO, I could go either way with this, depending on which side of the fence your on, lol. Either if you are the one who is telling then God is basically encouraging you saying be strong, and don't worry, just do as He says. If you happen to be on the other side of the fence, or the one receiving the message then if it is indeed from God IT WILL come to pass, so that is how we know. Well, there's my little .02, lol

It's true those who follow Christ have a hedge of protection round about them. But sometimes God may allow us to be touched by men and devils. As the scripture says that those who follow Christ will suffer persecution...but it's worth it... great one's reward will be in heaven.

I think what the scripture is basically saying is that if it is the will of God than it can't be stopped. It is saying do not try to stop God's children from doing his works because no matter how hard you try you won't be able to. Many are called but few are chosen and he has a hedge of protection around them. Not only just the ones who are phrophets but around all of his people. Basically what God is saying is leave my children alone!
