Your inability to be honest about ignoring answers shows that you are not to be addressed . I am placing *you* on ignore for ignoring me .
please post a verse or two...then I will be happy to reply.![]()
well,, great verses, don't they show that one can"t keep the torah? What about the ALL., or break mycov in lev 26:15?![]()
why were the jewish Christians living as gentiles in Antioch??
bottom line, you want to go where Jesus was elaborating on things in the law to jews, forgetting that the cross came. Why do you not elaborate on how peter, james, paul, said not to burden with the torah, after the cross?
so at best you just show that jesus was talking to jew before the cross
Hmmm...it all gets a bit surreal at times. (another useful post)
Could you direct me to the post where NW gave examples? I am not ignoring anything. I have been over NW posts on this thread and he/she gave no examples where MG said Torah was a salvation issue.
I know you're not ignoring anything bro...and as far as I can see, no examples were forth-coming of either MG or MJ quotes.
I think we all miss a few posts to answer sometimes, most of it is pure oversight, or sheer volume of posts to sift through, especially when a topic gets red-hot.
Some people are a wee bit over-sensitive at times, and things become personal, which is a pity, ahhh but such is life.![]()
You bet . It is always useful to know who is honest and who is not .
Do you believe Duet 5?This is totally false.
They were given all scripture as it is able to throughly furnish all believers to perform good works.
Why would gentiles be ashamed of their past behavior, if they never heard the law that convinced them they were sinners?
The only way to know you are being led by the Spirit is by checking you're behavior as it stacks up with scripture.(including torah)![]()
You now have enough information on these dabates . They are ongoing and repetitive .So it seems there is always a good Torah vs. Torahlessness debate going on in this section (including the Sabbath debate as well). I've seen both sides of the battleground and sympathize towards the logic of both. But logic wont answer the ever present debate of whether or not Torah (any part, all parts, some parts) is for today. So just how important to you is this matter personally? Not tearing anyone down, just getting a feel for the why behind the big debate.
Please quote one any one verse in the NT requiring the observance of the 7th day sabbath by Jesus or an Apostle. Just one is all I ask.All or nothing, was what told the Rich Young Ruler in so many words. Its not that complicated. The Sabbath is the issue that cannot be avoid, because it is so clearly defined by God, and it is a Commandment of the highest moral basis, namely, defining a time of rest from labor and focusing on our relationship with God, and our fellow men, and yet Evangelicals, Catholics, and most Protestants ignore what God said to "Remember"!
Me neither. What others not only ignore but flat out spit on is that part of observing the Sabbath is putting to death their own for disobeying it .
I certainly do not ignore that the Lord told the Israelites to remember . But , I may as He didn't tell me anything about it .
Exactly . If He did , that would be a requirement for salvation .Me neither.

No she is to pretty to cast out.Any and all except for what is explicitly part of the New Covenant, i.e. the two-fold Commandment to Love God and Love One Another. Everything else -- special holy days (sabbaths, Sundays, whatever), clean vs. unclean foods, hair styles, clothing styles, a myriad of other minutiae -- all of it is useless excess baggage. Cast out the bondwoman and her son!
Would it matter to Gentiles if Jesus taught the Torah to the Jews ?Nope!

Christianity teaches the Torah is dead; nailed to the cross and fulfilled in Christ.
Christ is my Passover Lamb and my righteousness. Let Jews keep the Torah; Christians are not obligated and are theologically opposed, to the point of historically declaring heresy, to the practice of following Torah.
...why do they stare.I think it has something to do with believing all the Scripture. This issue has so much discussion, because Sunday is has NO biblical basis for replacing Sabbath! And 4th Commandment is one of the laws that God wrote with His own finger, and yet man made tradition from the Pope of Rome has subordinated the Sabbath to Sunday!
