And you don't find that refreshingly honest to have someone speak plainly and openly, even if you disagree with them, as opposed to someone like Hilliary (or insert whatever name you want) who bobs, weaves, dodges and blocks questions of where he/she really stands on issues in order to pander to the party faithful. I don't think Trump has a snowballs chance of getting the nomination (nor do I want him to) but he has certainly rocked the election boat and I am loving it!

Not really. I'd rather deceptive generally good people over genuine bad people.

And you know he is "genuine bad people" exactly how? Do you have some evidence other than tabloid "news"? Do you prefer deception as to honesty? If someone is deceptive how can they also be "generally good people"? Nixon was deceptive....is he also "generally good people"? So you trust people who are deceptive?...Would you trust a deceptive person if it is your husband/boyfriend simply because you believe he is "generally good people"? How about your "deceptive" business partner because he/she is "generally good people"? It is amazing how liberals are so willing to allow themselves to be deceived by "deceptive generally good people".

And you know he is "genuine bad people" exactly how?

Because he implied that good Mexican immigrants are the exception. He demeaned John McCain for being a prisoner of war, and may have tried to insult Megyn Kelly for being female.

He also seems to have narcissistic personality disorder.

Do you prefer deception as to honesty? If someone is deceptive how can they also be "generally good people"?

I prefer deception over immorality. Someone can lie, but be a good person.

Nixon was deceptive....is he also "generally good people"?

I don't know much about Nixon (I'm British).

Everyone is deceptive. What matter is what you lie about, and why.

Implied....really....implied....have you read our news lately about the horrible crimes some of these illegals have committed...oh, that's right you are British so you wouldn't know.
He demeaned John McCain for being a prisoner of war,
He did not demean him but he did take a slap at him after JM (whom I do admire) slapped first.....this is politics.
and may have tried to insult Megyn Kelly for being female.
I watch Fox and I know Megyn is a big girl and is quite capable of taking care of herself....unless you believe otherwise and that she needs special protection because she is a woman?
He also seems to have narcissistic personality disorder.
So am I to assume you are a psychologist/psychiatrist that has come to that conclusion?
I prefer deception over immorality. Someone can lie, but be a good person.
I have always understood liars to not be good people. I bet Neville Chamberlain might agree with that assessment. Or perhaps you are referring to yourself?
I don't know much about Nixon (I'm British).
But you know a lot about Trump....because you are British?
Everyone is deceptive. What matter is what you lie about, and why
To bring up Neville again.....he might disagree with you.
I am so glad I am not a humanist.....

I'm sure they have news in the UK and also internet and honestly I'd trust their news sources over ours.

He said he's not a hero because he was captured. This is a man who's never seen the reality of war calling out a prisoner of war and saying he's not a hero, and this man wants to be elected to Commander in Chief.
and may have tried to insult Megyn Kelly for being female.

The point is that this man has no class. He is shameless and a jerk to top it off and he's loved by Republicans everywhere he goes. He speaks right to their conscience and they truly feel and believe every stupid thing this man says. He is perfect for the GOP. He takes all their worst qualities and amplifies them on an order of a thousand. If we're lucky, he'll be the reason why no one ever elects a Republican ever again.

He also seems to have narcissistic personality disorder.

You don't have to be a psychiatrist to know Trump is completely full of himself.
I prefer deception over immorality. Someone can lie, but be a good person.

Everybody lies. It is perfectly human to not be 100% honest 100% of the time. I'm sure you don't immediately tell your wife she's put on a few pounds and is starting to look old, right? Have you ever heard the phrase, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"? Apparently, Trump has not heard that.

I don't know much about Nixon (I'm British).
But you know a lot about Trump....because you are British?
You don't think Trump has been mentioned much more recently than Nixon? Who the hell cares or is talking about Nixon anymore and what does that have to do with anything mentioned in this thread?
I am so glad I am not a humanist.....
And I'm she's glad she's not a Christian. What does that have to do with anything?

Implied....really....implied....

He named immigrants as definitely crimes, and that they may be some good immigrants.

What he thinks is implied, but it's implied strongly, and quite obviously. He isn't sure if there are good immigrants, but he 'knows' that many are criminals.

have you read our news lately about the horrible crimes some of these illegals have committed...oh, that's right you are British so you wouldn't know.

I'm guessing that doesn't say what percent have committed horrible crimes? If it's a small amount it's irrelevant to the point being made.

He did not demean him but he did take a slap at him after JM (whom I do admire) slapped first.....this is politics.

Politics doesn't justify saying all immoral things. He said McCain isn't a war hero because he was captured (even though McCain chose to stay with his troops instead of being freed). That's a vile thing to say, and just as stupid as saying you prefer living soldiers over dead ones. It's the dead ones, tortured, and imprisoned ones that made sacrifices... sacrifices than free living soldiers didn't have to make.

It's pretty despicable in my opinion.

and may have tried to insult Megyn Kelly for being female.
I watch Fox and I know Megyn is a big girl and is quite capable of taking care of herself....unless you believe otherwise and that she needs special protection because she is a woman?

It would also be wrong to insult a man for being male. The problem is insults based on gender, which seem to mock natural processes to that gender. It is sexist.

So am I to assume you are a psychologist/psychiatrist that has come to that conclusion?

It's from what I'd read others say.

I have always understood liars to not be good people. I bet Neville Chamberlain might agree with that assessment. Or perhaps you are referring to yourself?

Well everyone lies. I don't think lying is bad in itself.

I don't know much about Nixon (I'm British).
But you know a lot about Trump....because you are British?

Because I wasn't alive when Nixon was President, but I am alive now, and people tend to know more about things that happen when they are alive.

To bring up Neville again.....he might disagree with you.

Oh would he? Okay, try to explain why?

I am so glad I am not a humanist.....

I'd rather not be immoral and support immoral people.

Not to the people whose lives have been destroyed because of those crimes....I wonder if it is "irrelevant" to them.

Mccain took a political swipe at Trump....he swiped back....that's politics. From what I know of English politics this is pablum.
It would also be wrong to insult a man for being male. The problem is insults based on gender, which seem to mock natural processes to that gender. It is sexist.
Not even sure where this one comes from....you might want to go back and think this one over.
It's from what I'd read others say.
So you just regurgitate what other people say....WOW....now that is intelligent thinking.
Well everyone lies. I don't think lying is bad in itself.
I don't even know where to begin replying to that assertion....
Because I wasn't alive when Nixon was President, but I am alive now, and people tend to know more about things that happen when they are alive.
Ever heard the saying "Those that fail to learn from the past are doomed to repeat its mistakes"? You might want to take that to heart.
Everyone is deceptive. What matter is what you lie about, and why.
To bring up Neville again.....he might disagree with you.
Oh would he? Okay, try to explain why?
Because tens of millions of people died because he believed a lie. One more time... "Those that fail to learn from the past are doomed to repeat its mistakes" Learn your own history.

Do you think it says anything bad about Republicans that Donald Trump is top in the polls?

Why do so many people support such an ignorant and narrow-minded guy?

It doesn't say anything bad. It just wraps up every single republican ideology all-in-one. Like when other countries complain about America he's like a bookmark. People don't even have to do alotta searching anymore.

I see this in a positive light actually. He illustrates so much wrong that by observing him we can analyze and fix those wrongs in society.

Also if he wins I'm going to be super happy because I literally will not lose any sociopolitical discussion and will have an "I told you so" in pocket at all times. And a nice permanent move to the UK as well...

And I'll laugh at my former country as Trump and Repubs do their best to undo the Iran deal and start another war and make Iran start their nukes back up and wipe out the entire east coast. And watch him start wars with other countries like NK, Russia, and Iran because he's so patriotic.

Waste money on bordering up the country and deporting. Waste on rich people tax breaks. Completely ignore common things like roadways. Let education go to waste. Expand the wage gap exponentially. And Crash the US world image.

Can't wait to see America vote him in. I know they probably will because they voted in Bush... twice. It would be a fantastic 8 years of comedy.

...That I wouldn't be a part of...

http://ringoffireradio.com/2015/09/...te-bible-verse-unfortunately-it-doesnt-exist/

''
Donald Trump has repeatedly stated the Bible is his favorite book in the world. “I love the Bible,” Trump told Bloomberg news. “I’m a Protestant. I’m a Presbyterian. I went to Sunday School.” However, when asked to state one verse he likes most, he refused. Why? Because he obviously doesn’t know one. Instead, he told Bloomberg: “I wouldn’t want to get into it. Because to me, that’s very personal. The Bible means a lot to me, but I don’t want to get into specifics.”

In a recent interview with Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), Trump said the more he reads the Bible, the more incredible it becomes. “The Bible, is special. The Bible, the more you see it, the more you read it, the more incredible it is. I don’t like to use this analogy, but like a great movie, a great, incredible movie. You’ll see it once it will be good. You’ll see it again. You can see it 20 times and every time you’ll appreciate it more. The Bible is the most special thing.” ''

But he still cannot accurately quote a single verse from it!

Laughable!

I think the republicans like him because he's an a hole. And he claims to want to build a big fence, to keep the illegals. Also the nonsense he's against planned parenting. That's all I see of him. But if he finds more money will be made, by not building the fence and funding planned parenting. He will betray all the republicans in a second.

He claims he is, but he has changed his mind about pro choice. So he claims. He used to be for it, now he's against it. Trumps is a business man. If a business can make money on things, like abortions. He might just encourage them to charge more money on abortions and profiting on other things. I really don't be he's really changed his views. Just simply trying to get elected.
