He used metals and oil from the earth and had a machine mold it into a vehicle and gave it life to move. We drive them to work everyday or they drive us. It's a crude comparison but a valid comparison none the less. (Perhaps I should have used an AI robot as a comparison?)

They try to explain things away that point to God and make up naturalist ways for reality to have come about. And then you accept it as truth and your reality while ignoring the rest.

How would you define yourself? Are you alive? Or are you merely an organic compound going through the motions of life? Feeding yourself. Resting. Moving about. Chemical reactions in your brain that seem like consciousness and self awareness?

What I am getting at is that life is separate from the creation. (That is why I said "and gave it life". A conjunction joins parts of a sentence.) The creation (makeup) of biological creatures is analogous of the way humans create things. Nature does not create things.

What "other scientists?" All you mentioned so far are legitimate mechanisms that produce issues, such as gene transfer between unicellular organisms and such. These are all explanable and do not mean there is no nested hierarchy. Again, God has nothing to do with it.
