Actually not "poofing". More like using materials on the earth like clay, amino acids, proteins, etc. to mold a living creature with complex biological machinery that all works together and then bringing it to life.

As any intelligent designer does.

Show us one that does this. Just one will do.

Henry Ford?

Henry Ford molded a creature together from clay, amino acids, proteins, etc and then gave it life?? Wow!!!! I never knew that!

You guys are sooooooo confused...

And how is that molding done? What are the mechanisms?

Now you are playing word games.
Not me, creationists play the word games. i and I am following THEIR rules on this. They define information very specifically and according to THEIR definition, there is absolutely NO information in DNA.

I've heard the nested hierarchy is not a solid theory and is based on shaky evidence.

You heard wrong, dude.

He used metals and oil from the earth and had a machine mold it into a vehicle and gave it life to move. We drive them to work everyday or they drive us. It's a crude comparison but a valid comparison none the less. (Perhaps I should have used an AI robot as a comparison?)

I am not confused one bit.

Hank gave the car life?

And this ladies and gentlemen, is how a typical creationist handles reality.

Actually other scientists say that about Nested Hierarchy. It's not a solid premise. Perhaps this is how some scientists handle reality? They try to explain things away that point to God and make up naturalist ways for reality to have come about. And then you accept it as truth and your reality while ignoring the rest.

Hank gave the car life?

In the sense that it seems to be alive, yes. It produces energy. Does a puppet appear to be alive? yes. The puppeteer gives the puppet life.

How would you define yourself? Are you alive? Or are you merely an organic compound going through the motions of life? Feeding yourself. Resting. Moving about. Chemical reactions in your brain that seem like consciousness and self awareness?

What I am getting at is that life is separate from the creation. (That is why I said "and gave it life". A conjunction joins parts of a sentence.) The creation (makeup) of biological creatures is analogous of the way humans create things. Nature does not create things.

I guess you are unaware of human emotion?

What I am getting at is that life is separate from the creation.

Based on what evidence?

Nature does not create things.

And yet we see new life coming about through nature all of the time. It is called biological reproduction. You should look into it.

After getting basic biology wrong, you are now telling us what the scientists are saying? Sorry, but I am going to take that with a very large grain of salt. Could you at least try to back up this claim?

They try to explain things away that point to God and make up naturalist ways for reality to have come about.

Yeah, that whole meteorology science stuff where they try to explain lightning through natural means when everyone knows that it is God throwing those bolts.

And guess what? Automobiles do not fall into a nested hierarchy like life does.

If you think they are similar comparisons, then yes you are confused. Didn't we go over before as to why automobiles cannot fit into a nested hierarchy?

What "other scientists?" All you mentioned so far are legitimate mechanisms that produce issues, such as gene transfer between unicellular organisms and such. These are all explanable and do not mean there is no nested hierarchy. Again, God has nothing to do with it.
