Christians don't have to check each other's cell phones or odometers.
Either that, or have a set of boolean standards.Sounds like Christians should automatically and without question believe anything a fellow Christian says...
Hey, they beat science! And why do you trust those recordings?
I wonder who they think they can blame the tools on? Aliens? animals? Ha
What the science says, as I understand it, is that an unknown species, predating humans used tools, therefore tool use was earlier and more widespread than previously thought. The animal that used these tools was on the evolutionary path that led to humans, they may have been on our path or on a dead branch line, no one knows at this stage. They were NOT Chimps or Gorillas, they were a now extinct species. So it is just stupid to say baboons might start using tools, a species descended form baboons might, a million years from now.I wonder who they think they can blame the tools on? Aliens? animals? Ha
The simple answer is that their imaginary dates are nonsense.
‘Predate humans’: Stone tools made 3.3mn years ago found in Kenya

Hey, they beat science!
Trouble talking English? No one needs the exact day of the flood. So what was 500 BC? I am thinking of the tools that the thread is about. But whatever you have that you thought was pre flood, get over it. That I'd like to see.

Whatever you think you found, you cannot support any accusation that calls God a liar. Not by science.
The issue is who made them. HoohaChimpansee tool use:

Regardless of your touchy Feely issues, you a have no clue who manufactured the tools. Thanks for the care Blanche to call man science lies. It gives me a kick.Until someone can back up their god claims, I have no reason to believe and do not accept others mental view as fact unless it is backed up with real world experience and evidence. I have found most religious claims to be more theologically sound then reality sound. Which is find for them, but don't expect me to believe it blindly.
The amount of mental twisting you do to keep your world view is amazing to watch dad, but does nothing to provide the evidence I need to believe it. Feel free to keep calling science lies, they are use to it, and I have been called worse on this forum.
(maybe I should add them back into my sig....)
Your dates are religion. No possible proof or support. Yes the tools were probably probably post flood. Guess you can't defend your same state past religious drivel dates, now that your fled in sheer panic. HeheYou appear to pose statements (re: your beliefs) and respond to replies, by ignoring them
~to reassert the OP, when, of-course that IS, what this thread is about
As I said: Chronology is and, will remain 'the crux' of all your argument
"WHEN DID MEN MAKE THOSE TOOLS" ... You say: "post-flood"
Which is as preposterous a suggestion (given the details of their discovery)
as to suggest, that writing began AFTER "Babel"
To be FOUND, 'where' they were found (in layers, that pre-date the Great Flood)
Must mean, that they are older than you believe them to be
You get your wish .... I withdraw from this thread
It reminds me so much, of modern classrooms

God told me.How do you know?

The
Thanks for clearly showing that you do not believe Jesus created man, but that you believe man came from some dead branch balony. Good riddance. What the science says, as I understand it, is that an unknown species, predating humans used tools, therefore tool use was earlier and more widespread than previously thought. The animal that used these tools was on the evolutionary path that led to humans, they may have been on our path or on a dead branch line, no one knows at this stage. Yes. Man.And you do?
Never mind. Someone who claims to talk to god always think they have the answers.
This describes you to a tee, dad. You are just blind to the irony. Why? Cause you need it to be? You just show that you cannot cope with the obvious.
These tools are worked stones, buddy... not just random stones someone picked up and used. I am sure this proceeded worked stones used as tools, but we may never know how long ago such unworked stones were used. Perhaps, from the very beginning of the hominid line, since chimps and other primates use unworked stones. You actually have stumbled on an interesting question, however. Primitive stone tools that are not worked in an obvious fashion can be very hard to discern from stones that were say broken by accident. I'm not sure if these tools fall into that category or not, though.Let me get this straight.
Some guy in, say, 3000 BC picks up a 3.3 million-year-old rock and uses it as a tool.
Then, today, people find this "tool" and assume the man who used it, used it 3.3 million years ago?
I wonder if they date the metal in my engine block, if they would think my car has been around for 10 million years?
If I cut down a 100 year old tree and make a canoe out of it tomorrow, was that canoe used 100 years ago by my grandfather?
