Today's the day (need some prayers)!

Today is my test on the Nursing school entrance exam (it's called the TEAS because it really is a TEASE!!) This test plus my GPA determine whether or not I get into Nursing school this summer, so it's of HUGE importance obviously.

If I don't do well, or if my GPA and score aren't at the top, I'm not getting in and I have to wait a full year to take the test over. I'm competing with over 200 girls half my age for 40 seats in the class.

I have never done well on standardized tests for some reason. I think because I try to make the questions harder than what they really are. I dunno.

Anyway, I'm sick to my stomach, I can't find my glasses, and I'm pretty sure I'll probably freeze once it starts. I get test anxiety really bad sometimes even when I KNOW the material like the back of my hand!

Some of this material is totally foreign to me, and I have no clue why I need to know about rock formations and tectonic plates to be a nurse...but that's part of the testing. I have never taken physical science in my life!

Please send up some prayers for your nervous sister!

Ughhh.

Well, I'm home.

Tests like that are SO draining!

I didn't do as well as I was hoping to, but I did do better than I thought I would.

Overall, I don't see any reason why I won't be in Nursing school this summer!

I felt really confident after the test today, but now I'm starting to feel doom and gloomy. This is THE most competitive department in my school (in my state for that matter).

I'm just not sure my score was good enough.

I won't know until next month whether or not I was accepted.
