Can't evangelize that which you know nothing about. IF we are to be a part of the fulfillment of "blinders off", we need to have these dialogues with those who are truly of the hebrew mindset so that we can understand and be understood. It is not for the weak and baby in the faith. This is for the spiritually mature, who have a strong foundation in Yeshua and His faith that no tradition or doctrines of men can move them from letting go of Yeshua, from whence comes their salvation.

Oh I think Christianity and Judaism are closer than say, Judaism and Hinduism. Beyond that I really can't say. I mean what are you really meaning when you say "christianity." do you mean Catholics? SDAs? mormons? etc.? its a thorny question,a nd the quick answer is that they are as far apart as mercury and pluto.
