CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey there, other "newbies".
I love the verses of Isaiah 40:29-31. (Especially the "wings as eagles" part--it makes me picture a sort of quintessence to the freedom we have in Christ.) My favorite verses are Matthew 6:33, and pretty much all of Philippians, the second chapter specifically.

Hey, I just wanted to say hello and I hope nobody minds if I post in here often! I've spent so much time in technical music forums as I tackled the mind-boggling task learning to produce music, and its added so much to my progress. The collective forum thing is awesome, as I was chained to my computer 24/7 instead of out deejaying and practicing dance. Everybody answered all my questions, gave suggestions, and supported everyone else inthe learning, & tech process.. Now when I'm not doing that im pretty much thanking the Lord for allowing me to get here. Please say a prayer for my buddy, as he just got home from hernia surgery today and my best friends and who just had a little premie baby boy!!!Love & peace out to everybody, it works!!!
