For those who go to church on a regular basis, I was just wondering your views on it. I'll post mine a little later.
Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.
I don't believe in tithing. It's just don't think it's a good use of our money. I feel like it's basically throwing away our finances, and I already have a tightly-balanced budget to begin with most months, I'd feel like I was just burning it into oblivion. I've never bought into the whole "You'll get something back some day for doing it, in some manner [From God, or what have you]".
It's not practical for our lives. I'll put some change in the collection plate if I happen to have any on me, that's the extent of it.

There's lots of Pastors out there who use it for their sermons, and teach that if you don't tithe(exactly 10 percent) then you will be missing God's blessing.
Even worse ones on popular Evangelical television channels that if you don't "sow your seed" of a Thousand bucks right now by calling this 800 number, you'll miss your miracle, LOL!
