perhaps my opinion isnt counted because I am new, but none the less we need to be carefull of GOSSIP, The definition of gossip is "if you are not apart of the problem or you are not a part of the answer, it is not yours to discuss". You do realize that one of the questions on both the current and the old mod app's is "do you have other foru.ms accounts?" Obviously this is something Time was not honest about. He could have chosen to admit he had a banned account, but did not do so.

Actually, Rick - in our "wisdom" it was decided to drop that particular question! (see here) along with one or two other items. I think perhaps we need to go back and look at that again.






However .....

it has to be said that had Time chosen to declare this to me at the outset, I truly would have bent over backwards to try and get it sorted. But he didn't and there was little or nothing we could do to change things once it came out because, as Rick so eloquently stated, rules is rules. And it wasn't Time's choice to decide to brush off that situation and start afresh.

Further more, having not declared this to me when I processed his application, within only a few hours of having his staff status revoked, he went to a mod in the non-denom forum and had himself put up for election there without informing that mod of either the past history or this recent debacle which was till under review. When that poll came to light and I closed it down, no less that a couple of hours later, he had put up his own poll in the long since disused Moderator Application forum!



I make no comment about these activities. I simply leave it to all of you to reach your own conclusions. I only know that as each episode revealed itself I was less and less impressed with it all and terribly saddened by it.

How was he to know that?
He tried that before, by email. Staff ignored him even though they had banned his account by mistake, they would not even give him the information about appealing, which would have taken two seconds to respond to.

But he didn't and there was little or nothing we could do to change things once it came out because, as Rick so eloquently stated, rules is rules. And it wasn't Time's choice to decide to brush off that situation and start afresh.

It should be set right now for him to start afresh when you look to see his previous account was banned by mistake.
There is no reason not to.

I wasn't fighting, *edit* Let me rephrase that, I dislike obvious posts being defended when they shouldn't be. And I don't like being corrected on obvious posts that I understood correctly.
And not EVERY single one.
