Time To Eat!

I made Pasta and DH and DS will have meat sauce since and I'll be making Veggie sauce for me later. We have our big meal at noon when DH works since he works second shift.

Lasagna, pluots and raw veggies. OH! I need to go get some bread in the oven!

Tilapia seasoned with Old Bay seasoning and garlic, skillet fried in butter.

Baked potatoes.

tonight was terriaki chicken drum stix, edamame, ramen noodles and grapes. Milk too.

OH NO! I FORGOT TO SERVE THE FORTUNE COOKIES!

mmm, that does sound yum. Tonight I am making pasta with sausages and a creamy pesto sauce, and salad.

It's Saturday leftover schmorgasboard for lunch today!!!!!

15min flat??!! hmmmm....bring home some already made subs and raw veggies w/dip!
or you could bring home one of those roaster chickens!

just another thought...campbells soup! I love their select varieties!

Even my quickie dinners usually take 30 minutes.
Last night we had baked pork loin w/rice and steamed peas.
breakfast: scrambled eggs and raisin toast.
tonight...i'm thinking chicken and smashed potatoes.
not sure yet.

I just got another idea...breakfast for dinner! scrambled eggs or something equally as fast.

I just arrived home with frozen pre-cooked meat balls and a can of cream of mushroom soup. It's all going into the crock pot now. I also have watermelon and frozen steam-in-the-bag green beans. I'll boil some egg noodles to go with (usually 10 minutes to get them done.

Tonights dinner is:
Bakes chicken breast (skin on bone in) with thyme, olive oil. Side of asparagus and broccoli. Green salad with tomato and cucumber.
Lunch was Sushi, Breakfast was Waffles.

A recipe from Rachael Ray. It's a skillet meal consisting of potatoes, bacon, cabbage and eggs. It is very delicious but was not a fast meal (not one of her 30-minute meals). I'm washing it down with grapefruit juice. I love breakfast-type meals.

We had chicken curry last night. Whole chicken pieces rolled in a mixture of curry powder, flour, salt, pepper and a little bit of sugar. That stands for 30 minutes, then get a mixture of ketchup, mushroom soup (it's supposed to be powder plus water but I used a can), chutney and worcestershire sauce on top. In the oven for an hour. I was really surprised at how well this came out, really yummy!

for breakfast we had scrambled eggs and toast.

tonight's dinner is still on the "back burner!"

Feeling a bit sad, my parents were supposed to be with us today for dinner, since we wouldn't see them this Easter, and they both are knocked out with the influenza bug.

Not doing a big dinner anymore....we'll eat whatever is aroundthe house. Maybe some pancakes today.
