Time passes in Revelation 6-19

Jesus does not come back at the end of "7 years". There is no '7 years' - the 'great tribulation' is shortened even by how you reckon it (Matthew 24:22). Thus, no 7 years!

The seven years are in Revelation 12.

1260 days, Revelation 12:6, the first half

the time, times, half time, Revelation 12:14, the second half

The covenant is confirmed by the 'mighty angel' of Rev 10.

What verse in Revelation 10 speaks about a covenant?

The sign of the son of man in heaven is the Rev 12:1-2 'great sign in heaven'.

The first five verses of Revelation 12 are a visual portrayal of historic bibilical events that took place regarding Jesus born to the woman Israel and his ascending to heaven that took place in Acts 1.

It is not the Matthew 24:30a sign of the Son of man in heaven.

The sign of the Son of man in heaven is at the sixth seal event near the end of the 7 years, which terrifies the wicked men of the earth.

30At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. 31And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

The 'angels' (just means 'messengers' in Greek) are the 2 witnesses gathering people until the 7th Trumpet.

The two witnesses in Revelation 11 are not said in the text to gather anyone.
