No, but you are right. When the man is not leading then the wife has to step up and try and lead the family and the Lord holds the man responsible for his family. Puts things out of balance.

I know a lot of men do not go.
And that is sad because they really should be the ones hearing the Message, the man is to be the Spiritual leader of the family.
Not to take away from the woman's roll, we have a couple ladies in our church that are very "Gifted" with understanding and spreading His Word

Yes, in NZ anyway, I think it's statistically shown that more women attend church than men. My hubby has attended sporadically over the years. He isn't at present, though. He is not a Christian but we live in hope that one day.....

He and I would do IM in gmail a lot of nights doing praise and worship scripts back and forth, praying over each others needs and problems

What happened?

He went to another site , back around march/april when we was trying to be allowed to use the suppoert life ribbon in our siggy's.
then He just disappeared...
He had wanted to do missionary work over where you all are from, I think it was NZ.
He never told any of us he was going, and he lived in the Los Angeles area, so we don't know if something tragic happened or what

Yes, that's true, Carl. One or two folk at the church we attend would say to tell him they missed him when he didn't come with us to the services. I'm sure that's true, but it also started feeling like a little bit of manipulation. Cos they never ring him up or call in to see him.

they should make the effort to get ahold of him or ring him up, that way it is not you being put in the middle, and he will feel that 'they' are truely meaning that they missed seeing him .
