(By the way, "self-control" is a virtue that Christians are exhorted to

TikTok causes all kinds of mental problems in general among young people. After coming to understand it better, I think the early Trump and Biden-era push to have it banned was the correct one. It isn't that different from plopping your kid in front of a One Armed Bandit in terms of its potential for addiction, only this one subjects young people to many negative consequences as part of its reward mechanism.

In China, Bite Dance isn't allowed to post anything on TikTok except educational videos and general news information. They don't allow the kind of vice-filled social dynamics and gossip that are routine on the American platform.

I never understood the appeal of TikTok. I find it a waste of time.
