CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Either I'm losing my mind or there are some strange things happening at home while I'm at work during the day. Regardless, before I went to sleep last night I asked God for protection. When the alarm went off I got up, hit the snooze and crawled back into bed for ten minutes. I heard a big yawn outside my bedroom window (which is open because it's such beautiful weather as of late). For a second I just froze. Then I went and peered out the window and caught sight of the tail end of my wild cat as he/she was slinking off my back porch. hehe, I ask God for protection and he sends me a wild cat. I thoght that was pretty cool.

This may not be a big deal to anyone but me but I took Flylady's advice today and shined my sink. I also cleaned out the area under my sink and put a big tub there to house all the dirty dishes that come along between washings so that the sink can stay that way. I wonder how long this will last.

I'm looking forward to tonight. Hubby will be home kinda late, so I'm going to pamper myself. I can't wait for a nice long soak in the tub with a mud mask on!
