It's in the mid-60s here right now. Much cooler than that and I will have to turn the heat on tonight.

Us people from the tropical places just aren't meant to withstand cold weather.

It is supposed to get chilly tonight. High 30's, low 40's. But nothing like it was a couple weeks ago when it got down in the 20's! In Florida!!!! That's just crazy!

I think it snowed in LA yesterday too. My husband, who grew up there, watched the news and said in shock, "That NEVER happens."

I am praying over something that I had hoped was resolved but is not and am leaving it in God's hands to fix. I hope I can leave it in His hands instead of trying to take it back and fix it myself.

I splurged and bought a new mattress set for our bed yesterday. A Temper-pedic
My husband didn't quite understand the concept. To me it wasn't just a new mattress. It was an investment in our marriage. A new beginning. It made me happy and want to cry at the same time.

I hope I like it too. It was VERY very expensive to not like
I'm hoping it helps me to get some sleep. At the present I only get maybe three or four hours a night.

Oh come on....isnt it cool to be able to sit a glass of wine on the bed, and stand up on the mattress and dance the macarana and not spill it?

Replace "glass of wine" with "glass of milk" and you'll have the reason my 9 yr old asked for one of those mattresses.

c1ners - that stinks that you aren't sleeping much. I hope the mattress helps. I've heard people either love them or hate them. But, I'm pretty sure you can return it for a full refund at the end of 90 days if you fall into the hate category. lol

In lieu of temper pedic, one could try a walmart egg crate mattress and some Lunesta
