Joseph Smith - through the medium of the Urim and Thummim - translated the [Book of Mormon] by the gift and power of God. Smith described the Urim and Thummim as "two transparent stones set in the rim of a [silver] bow fastened to a breast plate. Of couse this is totally unscriptural.
Is this good enough or do you need more details?

Perfect! You got it!

Yeah Smith taught that the "Urim and Thummim" were a large pair of glasses that when worn would change the script on the golden plates into English.

Great Job GEL!

Blessings coming up!!

Hi Mesue!

You can still answer the other bonus question, and if GEL or someone else doesn't get the rest of the Question Two I'll make it open for everyone (including you) tomorrow.

You have to take the blessings! It's the rule! :D
okay, what's left to answer?

Ok here is the final question left to answer:

Bonus Question TWO (for any Baptist - Anabaptist)

Name the four stipulations for cannonization of a NT book.

Answer 150 blessings

(***Thanks Pastor George for this question!!!***)

Now there may be different ideas about what these 4 rules are, so I'll take some varied answers though there are essentials. And no asking Pastor George! :p

Now 'git!

I'm going to take a WILD guess.

1) had to be written AFTER Pentecost.
2) before 70ad (which is why revelations was disputed).
3) can not contradict any other NT book.
4) ..........uh, seeing how 20 of the 27 books were widely accepted: it had to be already widely accepted and in use by the local churches.

..........really WILD guess, this is not easy to find online!!

ACK! Your hyper-dispensationalism is showing. You did get one of them though

1) Acceptance by the early church.

Is one of them.

I'm going to give up the other three because, since you can't find it on the Internet... it is unlikely to be answered  (jk)

2) Apostolic author
3) Intrinsic content
4) Moral agreement

The book had to be written by an apostle, accepted by the early church as scripture, agree with all other scripture morally and doctrinally.

I'll let Pastor George elaborate if he likes.. it was his question and answers....

Take it away Pastor George.......................

or don't

1/4 Points to @@Paul@@!! Congrats!
