Oh for heaven's sake - read a book!Bingo! Just the words I was looking for!
Eh um, sexual attraction is what homosexuality is all about. It's not love, in other words, it's L-U-S-T. Homosexuality is all about the physical attraction; it has nothing to do with the emotional. Did you not get that from reading the article?
Source?Heterosexuality and pornography often goes hand in hand.
Homosexuality and pornography always goes hand in hand.
In our sex saturated society, that is.
This article expresses very clearly what I have been trying to say for a long time, plain and simple.
I believe you should allow GOD to decide and not assume that role for yourself.
Why do you believe this to be true? Is it because of the article in the OP?Homosexuality and pornography always goes hand in hand.
Pfft. I know quite a few gay and bisexual people, and most of them have never looked at porn. Give me a source for this nonsense.Heterosexuality and pornography often goes hand in hand.

Why do you believe that homosexual relationships do not contain an emotional dimension?Of course men and women are sexually attracted to one another, but it doesn't stop there, there is another dimension; it's called the emotional dimension, a dimension which does not exist in the homosexual realm.
Because the gay activists are all lying and only the tiny handful of pressured people who claim to have changed their orientations have any vision of the truth. The fact that factoring in emotions makes condemning the rights movement far more difficult to justify is irrelevant. Why do you believe that homosexual relationships do not contain an emotional dimension?
Gay people are sexually and romantically attracted to people of the same sex rather than people of the opposite sex. It's just a fact of how a gay person feels. Is it right to feel that way? Is it wrong? I don't think it's a "right" or "wrong" question -- it just is. Is it right to prefer vanilla over chocolate? No ... but I wouldn't say it is wrong, either. People like what they like. You might think it's weird, but I don't know how you can argue it's wrong (unless your belief is based in religion).Maybe you need to prove why homosexuality is right. Not being a Spartan, I really have no idea what homosexuality is all about. Clearly, it isn't about siring children.
By frowned on, do you simply mean that those that speak out could go to jail for an open opinion?
I hold fornicators and adulterers in the very same regard as I do the homomsexual who gives up. Everyone has issues and crosses to bear. Everyone makes mistakes. Mistakes are not corrected by simply ignoring them or calling them right.
I'm just curious as to the last time a regular ol' every day Christian stood up to a fundy and told 'em they're wrong was?It is often a fundamentalist point that is being responded to, but the response, at least from what I see here pretty often, is broadly aimed at Christians in general.

discrimination is always an ugly thingI personally do not care if someone hates me because I am gay. That is their loss. I do care if someone is working to deny me and other gay people equal treatment under the law. Whether they are doing this out of hatred or out of their religious beliefs is irrelevant to me. In either case, I feel I must work to counter their political efforts, not by suppressing their efforts, but by campaigning in opposition to their efforts.
That it is.discrimination is always an ugly thing
I disagree with the conservative viewpoint on homosexuality.
Why not just live and let live?
And being gay is not a sign if ignorance?"Frowned on", meaning considered a social faux pas. However, if you were to go around suggesting gay people should be harmed or killed, yes, you'd quite possibly do some time. However, Canada is a free speech country. Nothing you've said so far would be illegal in Canada - it would just be considered an indication of bigotry and/or ignorance, or at least serious social ineptitude. There are a few splinter groups running about the political halls of Canada who oppose gay marriage (too late), all perfectly legal, and all backed by conservative religious groups.
