Which is it?
Do you think Cornelius at that moment of John 3, was thinking of Jesus dying on the cross, being buried, and rising on the 3rd day, for the salvation of the whole world?
He is either saving His sheep, or all mankind. It can’t be both.I do not understand your question. Can you clarify if you have the time.
He is either saving His sheep, or all mankind. It can’t be both.
Not everyone is a sheep. So not all mankind is saved. It is both because the Lord has sheep of other folds / nations. We become one sheep with one Shephard.
John 10:16
And I have other sheep that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice; and they will become one flock, with one shepherd.
The Lord establishes salvation through his cross and it grows to fill the earth. The rock becomes a mountain that fills the earth and fish / sheep of all kinds are gathered in the Gospel net at the end of this age.
I am not saying everyone is a sheep, far from it.Not everyone is a sheep. So not all mankind is saved.
Which is why I said that it can’t be both.I am not saying everyone is a sheep, far from it.
But there is Cornelius's to be found in every tribe and nation , and the Lord finds them and embraces them Amen. Glory to his name.
Which is why I said that it can’t be both.
I dont think anyone did. Even the disciples were slow to believe this.
The cross made Cornelius clean and Peter needed the vision in Acts 10 to see it.
I agree that Christ saves His sheep. I don’t agree that God sent his Son to save all Mankind through the blood of his Son.So you agree with me then? I am struggling with the intent of your posts. Why not take the time to deliver your point more precisely .?
How then are the rest of mankind going to be saved?I agree that Christ saves His sheep. I don’t agree that God sent his Son to save all Mankind through the blood of his Son.

They aren’t. Christ saves His sheep. How then are the rest of mankind going to be saved?
I believe that He came for His sheep. He didn’t come for goats.Does this mean you believe that everyone that ends up lost, there was never no hope for them whatsoever, that they couldn't be saved no matter what? IOW, it would be in vain for them to think salvation is for them as well, so why even try to get saved, right? Christ didn't die for any of them as well. BTW, no one is proposing Universalism if that is what you are taking some of this to imply, meaning what Jeff said in these other posts.
Who are the sheep that do not belong to the Jewish fold? They aren’t. Christ saves His sheep.
I believe that He came for His sheep. He didn’t come for goats.
Sheep. Goats. That’s the distinction.Who are the sheep that do not belong to the Jewish fold?
Why send the Gospel of the blood of Christ to the Gentiles.?
God so loved world of Man He sent his Son to gather out his sheep from all nations.
One was a sheep. One was a goat. One heard the Shepherd’s voice. One did not.Luke 23:40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Is this an example of one of the goats Jesus didn't come to save as well? Or is this an example of one His sheep, thus this person lived a Godly life for the most part? If you think this----for we receive the due reward of our deeds---equals having lived a sheeply life rather than a goatly life, then I don't know what to tell you?
Sheep. Goats. That’s the distinction.
Because there are two folds. First to the Jews, then to the Gentiles. You avoided my questions...why?
Who are the sheep that do not belong to the Jewish fold?
