A newly built third temple within the State of Israel is supposed to be a harbinger for the end times, but there is nothing in the Holy Bible for a third temple. In the Old Testament there are commands and prophecies from God to build the First and Second Temples, but there is nothing for a third. There are no commands and there are no prophecies for a third temple in the whole of the Holy Bible.

This is a serious problem because Christians are taught to expect something that is not going to happen, and if it should happen then it is not going to have any Biblical significance. And the reason it shall have no Biblical significance is because the LORD never said anything about it.

But Christians today are being taught to expect this and that means there has to be something these religious teachers are using to convince people that a third temple must be built. This teaching comes from the Antichrist Translation, which teaches that some spirit devil man is supposed to conquer and defile a newly built third temple in the State of Israel.

Some of you may not realize this, but there is only one verse that the Antichrist Translation uses to support this idea of a third temple:

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (Second Thessalonians 2:4)

Again, this is the only verse and there are no others—one verse. Notice that there is no command or prophecy to build a third temple. Notice that neither the word “Israel” nor the word “third” is mentioned in this verse. But it does have the word “temple” within it, and when this verse is cut and pasted into the Antichrist Translation then people wrongly assume that a third temple must be built, and that is a lot of assuming. They are assuming that a third temple must be built so their spirit devil man can defile it—they assume one must be built.

What they are doing is reading Second Thessalonians 2:4 literally, and thinking like a worldly person thinks. They see the word temple in this one verse, and apply it to Old Testament verses and wrongly conclude that a third temple is to be built in the State of Israel. But this conclusion is very far from New Testament truth, so far that it is shameful.

I have better idea for what the temple is. The Apostle Paul wrote Second Thessalonians and he also wrote First Corinthians:

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which [temple] ye are. (First Corinthians 3:16+17)

Again, the Apostle Paul wrote these three verses, and if we give this a little thought then we should be able to combine them.

[?] Suppose someone walked around town confessing to be a child of God, but continued to live a worldly life, could this person's disobedience be in opposition to God as he exalts himself above what God commands to be done with His temple?

This is the New Testament Era, where life with God is in the Holy Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven. To teach that the New Testament faith has anything to do with the State of Israel is reverting back to Old Testament life, and is blasphemy against all the glorious work that God the Father has completed by, through, and in Christ Jesus His Holy Messiah.

I believe Jesus will build Ezekiel temple when he returns.....but before that .....a false messiah builds Ezekiel temple and leads the world to follow the laws of Moses.....
maybe you should read the end of Ezekial again. no man but Jesus can build it ... it is more than just a building. read all there way to the end of the book.. just keep reading .. I have had to read ( told to read it ) all the way to the end of Ezekial like 50 times just to get past all my minds objections to what it says.

90-95 % of christians really don't have a clue what Ezekials temple is much less where it is .. it is not the new jerusalem as read in REV 21. so where is it ? that is not 'heaven" ( 8th day )! so where is it ?

I know my husband doesn't know , he keeps arguing with it what he thinks it says.. his mind just can't grab it before he gets sleepy in the boring parts and goes to bed. then he doesn't remember it the next day . God doesn't want him to see it I guess. because Ezekials temple is just hiding in plain site.. and people don't know what it says. and I have asked lots of of christians and most don't even know there is a temple in that book much less where or when it is .

To say there is nothing in he Bible that says there will be a Third Temple, denotes a failure to read the many times that a Temple will exist in the end times.

The prophetic Scriptures clearly predict that the Third Temple will be built and the sacrifices reinstated, in the final years leading up to the Return of the Messiah. It is clear, too, that there will be more than just the Jewish people living in the Land of Greater Israel. All the Israelites from all 12 tribes of Israel, will migrate to New Israel soon after the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, the terrible Day of fire and storms, that will clear and cleanse most of the Middle East.
The place of the new Temple, will be to the North of the existing Dome of the Rock, because this is in the direct line of the now sealed Eastern gate. The Bible, the Torah, and Josephus, all agree that the Temple was in that location. The Temple Institute, in Jerusalem, has made the utensils for the Temple worship, including the robes and breastplate for the High Priest. The Ark of the Covenant will be brought from its hiding place. Zechariah 6:15 Men from far away will come to work on rebuilding the Temple.

The Jewish sage, Moses Maimonides, known as Rambam, declared that the Temple will be rebuilt and the exiles from around the world gathered back into the Promised Land.
The Messiah will appear and re-establish the glory of King David.
In the Talmud Yerushalmi, Rabbi Acha says; The Beit Hamikdash [Holy Temple] will be built first, before the advent of the Kingdom of David.
The Pnei Moshe states; The Land will be settled first, then the people will become prosperous, after that they will build the Temple and finally, the Messiah will come.
In the Mar’eh Punim the Gaon Moshe Margolis wrote that when Jacob predicted the future of Judah, he foretold that the Temple would be rebuilt first, then the Messiah would come.

The whole scenario of the end times, has a logical sequence to it. At last, now in 2013, we can see how things are happening that will see a confederation of Islamic states and entities that will be motivated to get rid of the ‘ cancer ‘ in their midst, that is the State of Israel. The moment of their attack, is the moment that God will intervene. This great Day of the Lord, will take the form of a natural event – a coronal mass ejection, a massive sunstrike of cosmic particles, causing intense heat and electrical storms. The attacking armies will be destroyed by their own weaponry, as they all explode before firing. This literally fulfils the prayer in Psalm 83:13-18
Many prophesies speak of the regeneration of the Land of Greater Israel, “in a very short while” [Isaiah 29:17] after this great clearance and cleansing of the entire area. Righteous Israel- “those who love the Lord and follow in His ways” will then gather “on the mountains of Samaria”. This is described very well in Ezekiel 20:34-38.
Over 40 prophesies describe how all the Israelites will live in peace and security in their own Land. At last, they will be as God originally intended, “a light to the nations”, they will “exemplify My Holiness for all to see”. Ezekiel 39:27-29 [The attack by Gog/ Magog will come during this period]
They will build the Third Temple, and “the splendour of this latter House will surpass that of the former”. Haggai 2:9 Zechariah 8:9-13 has wonderful promises of restoration and redemption; Courage! Do not lose heart!

Has Jesus returned to destroy the man of sin, the son of perdition, the lawless one, the antichrist?

Has Jesus returned and destroyed this false christ with the brightness of His Coming?

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 2 Thessalonians 2:8

The Coming of the Lord to Gather His people at the Resurrection will also involve Him personally destroy the evil false christ.

1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4

The Sacrificial Altar Is Being Rebuilt For The Future Temple In Jerusalem

The-Rebuilding-Of-The-Jewish-Temple.jpg

On a day when Jews mourn the destruction of the Temple almost 2,000 years ago, the Temple Institute made a giant step towards the rebuilding of the Temple by beginning to rebuild the sacrificial altar. The sacrificial altar is the location in the Temple where the Jews once offered sacrifices to the Lord, but there have been no sacrifices made since 70 A.D. when the Roman army destroyed both Jerusalem and the Temple.
It is difficult to understate the significance of the rebuilding of the sacrificial altar. You see, the sacrificial altar was the center of Temple worship. It was located near the center of the Temple, and upon that altar the priests would offer the numerous sacrifices that are commanded in the Torah.
The Temple Institute has previously rebuilt many of the other required instruments and vessels for the Temple, but rebuilding the sacrificial altar represents another huge leap forward in their goal.
Of course the Temple Institute is not able to rebuild the sacrificial altar in its proper location on the Temple Mount, so they are building it off site and will transport it to the Temple when it is rebuilt in the future.
The rocks for the sacrificial altar were gathered from the area around the Dead Sea and they were individually wrapped in order to ensure that they are not touched by metal as the Torah requires.
For students of Bible prophecy, this development is very exciting because it represents another huge step towards the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem as the Scriptures foretell.

Compare His "I will build" in Matthew 16, with His "I will build" in 2 Samuel 7. In the end, there will be no temple made out of hands. But that was neither the case from David to Christ, nor was it the case after Christ in Early Acts. For their those Messianic Christians are - worshipping Him in the Temple at Jerusalem - after Pentecost, with its Spirit's having come to dwell in them.

Temples in the Temple.

Confuse that with Paul's temple reference after Israel's fall in Acts 7, and temporary setting aside - until the fulness of this Gentile temple be come in, aftet which out of Sion shall go forth the Law out of the Father's House - until after His millenial reign, compare these things in this way, and not only are both temples obvious, but no confusion remains.

May I suggest a book, Israel and The Nations by F. F. Bruce. Excellent scholarly work!

The abomination of desolation already occurred during the destruction of the second temple.

H3671 kaw-nawf' From H3670; an edge or extremity; specifically (of a bird or army) a wing, (of a garment or bed clothing) a flap, (of the earth) a quarter, (of a building) a pinnacle: - + bird, border, corner, end, feather [-ed], X flying, + (one an-) other, overspreading, X quarters, skirt, X sort, uttermost part, wing ([-ed]).

Sir Isaac Newton had a good understanding of the abomination of desolation. He explains the wing (“overspreading”) of abominations to be the Roman ensigns (eagles) brought to the east gate of the temple, and there sacrificed to by the soldiers; the war, ending in the destruction of Jerusalem, lasted from spring A.D. 67 to autumn A.D. 70. [Josephus, Wars of the Jews, 6.6].

It is important to note that the ensign of the Roman armies was an eagle, and the solders offered sacrifices to the banners showing the eagles in preparation for battle. Note Deuteronomy 28:49 and the Commentary by Robert Jamieson, A. R. Fausset and David Brown on this verse.

Deuteronomy 28:49-52 “The LORD shall bring a nation against you from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue you shall not understand; 50 A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favour to the young: 51 And he shall eat the fruit of your cattle, and the fruit of your land, until you be destroyed: which also shall not leave you either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of your kine, or flocks of your sheep, until he have destroyed you. 52 And he shall besiege you in all your gates, until your high and fenced walls come down, wherein you trustedst, throughout all your land: and he shall besiege you in all your gates throughout all your land, which the LORD your God has given you.”

Commentary by Robert Jamieson, A. R. Fausset and David Brown
“Deu 28:49 The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far – the invasion of the Romans – “they came from far.” The soldiers of the invading army were taken from France, Spain, and Britain – then considered “the end of the earth.” Julius Severus, the commander, afterwards Vespasian and Hadrian, left Britain for the scene of contest. Moreover, the ensign on the standards of the Roman army was “an eagle”; and the dialects spoken by the soldiers of the different nations that composed that army were altogether unintelligible to the Jews.
Deu 28:50 A nation of fierce countenance – a just description of the Romans, who were not only bold and unyielding, but ruthless and implacable.
Deu 28:51 he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, etc. – According to the Jewish historian, every district of the country through which they passed was strewn with the wrecks of their devastation.
Deu 28:52 he shall besiege thee … until thy high and fenced walls come down – All the fortified places to which the people betook themselves for safety were burnt or demolished, and the walls of Jerusalem itself razed to the ground.”

The Jewish historian Josephus also sheds some light on the question what is the abomination of desolation. He made the following observations regarding the temple and the siege of Jerusalem by the Roman armies:

Sculpture of Roman eagle and weapons, probably from General Messalla's mausoleum“...he was accused by Judas and Matthias; for the king had erected over the great gate of the temple a large eagle, of great value, and had dedicated it to the temple.” – The Antiquities Of The Jews, Book 17, Chapter 6, Section 2.

“These lamented those that were put to death by Herod, because they had cut down the golden eagle that had been over the gate of the temple.” – The Wars Of The Jews, Book 2, Chapter 2, Section 5.

“1. NOW, as Titus was upon his march into the enemy's country, the auxiliaries that were sent by the kings marched first, having all the other auxiliaries with them; after whom followed those that were to prepare the roads and measure out the camp; then came the commander's baggage, and after that the other soldiers, who were completely armed to support them; then came Titus himself, having with him another select body; and then came the pikemen; after whom came the horse belonging to that legion. All these came before the engines; and after these engines came the tribunes and the leaders of the cohorts, with their select bodies; after these came the ensigns, with the eagle; and before those ensigns came the trumpeters belonging to them;” – The Wars of The Jews, Book V, Chapter II, Section 1.

“Then came the ensigns encompassing the eagle, which is at the head of every Roman legion, the king, and the strongest of all birds, which seems to them a signal of dominion, and an omen that they shall conquer all against whom they march...” – The Wars Of The Jews, Book 3, Chapter 6, Section 2
The Romans set up their standards in the temple and sacrificed to them.

JDo your research, Random, Josephus sold out his people when, captured by the Romans, and given an option to put his usefullness in the service of Rome against his people or be killed, he chose to sell his people out. In this, he is in the line of the worse of those Replacement "scoffers" Peter warns against in 2 Peter 2.

And sorry, as for your kingdom now, that is just more unbelief, fact is Christ is sitting at the Father's right hand, His Early Acts offer rejected by Israel, until He rises up to judge His ancient people and this planet.

I really doubt this is his kingdom now.. but if you think it is .. then I don't know what to say you !

Jesus confirms it!

Matthew 28:18
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, ALL POWER is given unto me in heaven AND IN EARTH.

Do you believe Him?

Seems like you don't... seems like you think ALL POWER in Heaven AND EARTH is not His yet...But He says it is.

How do you reconcile that?

Paul Says Jesus has ALREADY triumphed over principalities and powers:
Colossians 2:15
Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Peter also Says Jesus ascended into His throne in heaven AFTER all authorities and powers had been made subject TO HIM...
1 Peter 3:22
[Jesus Christ]who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.

We are not still waiting for this to take place. It's a done deal - and if you ask me, it's high time we started acting like it instead of running scared Claiming "The Devil made me do it".

This world is under the power of Jesus Christ.

Satan does NOT rule the earth today, Jesus Christ does. Satan has absolutely no power today to keep ANYONE from salvation.
His head has been crushed. He is a defeated foe.

Satan was bound/judged/cast out by Christ's ministry, reversing satan's dominion over the People of God, granting power over all darkness to the saints, and immediately enabling the gospel to spread to all nations.
(John 12:31 and Matt 12:28-29, Heb 2:14-15 and 1 John 3:8).
