  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Number one issue addressed was economic and Trumped up trickle down is still working in Clinton's favor, Trump's tax breaks for the richest one percent is untenable. The GOP obsession with repealing Obamacare was a waste of political capitol and I think we are looking at single payer because the Republicans have no alternative. Trump likes to talk in circles, repeating himself and refusing to talk issues in a substantive way. He is right about immigration but cannot articulate a comprehensive plan, we are looking at wholesale Hispanic invasion and I blame him because he couldn't manage a coherent plan for reform.

He was too random and kept straying off topic. Too many personal shots and not enough substance. She makes a wrong, but well designed plea for a more interpretive view of Constitutional Supreme Court and Trump wants to talk Second Amendment instead of strict construction.

I agree it was well moderated and appreciated that about the debate. Trump did great in the first debate but had a meltdown in the second and could have won the third hands down had he managed to get to the point. The man does not come off as Presidential, I couldn't be more disappointed.

Chris Wallace did a fine job moderating. Trump rambled on and I think any women who were undecided will likely break for Clinton after that "Shes a nasty woman" quote. Trump's "i'll leave you in suspense" line about accepting the results of the election should be insulting to all Americans. That was his most destructive moment in my opinion.

Trump - from God, Clinton - from Satan. Trump been under so much pressure and complete complete persecution from all all fronts in everywhere. So he's holding OK considering that. He's been trying to work so hard. With most tremendous support, Clinton isn't looking so good. Also because of her bad health

And, no doubts in one million years, Clinton will be made as president.

This election is going to be rigged by a bunch of inner city riggers according to Trump.

Trump should learn that African Americans don't just live in inner cities.

I love riggers. Worked with a bunch from IATSE.

She never denied the content of the Wikileaks dumps. Instead, she pivoted and switched the subject to Russian hacks. Maybe it was Russia who hacked for Wikileaks. Maybe it wasn't. Either way, Trump dropped the ball and allowed himself to get sidetracked with the hacking aspect of the situation instead of holding her accountable to the CONTENT of said hacks. Also, if she is so concerned with, and is so vigilant against foreign hacks, why did she conduct highly sensitive and top secret national security communications on an unsecured, private server in her basement?
I'm still trying to figure out were the hacks down on this server in her basement, or on her official government one?

I was caregiving last night, and the man watches Fox..so of course I did last night. lol it was his place!

After the debate Megyn Kelly was interviewing Donna Brazile? Man Alive that lady squirmed! I found that more telling than the debate.

She didn't deny the video's content, nor the town hall questions Hillary was given from her beforehand. She TRIED to deflect, but she did a lousy job at it.

They will NOT be happy with that lady this morning. Yikers!

I'm not normally a fan of some of the Fox personnel, but boy Megyn was handed a gift last night!

Neither. There was a hack of the DNC and a hack of her campaign chair's email. Not her personal or government email.

Ah ok. Personally, I don't trust the "wikileaks" from the Russian hackers. Who knows what they might have edited for their own agenda. I guess people forget about the KGBs little disinformation campaign about the US government creating AIDS/HIV. Some blacks still believe it to be true. Why do people trust the Russians so much? lol They haven't ever been our friend since the end of WW2.

The most surprising thing is that there really doesn't seem to be much of substance in them. There have been a couple attempts at making silly little things into scandals ("What! politicians sometimes aren't public about their personal opinions on things? SHOCK!") but I have to think that if there were anything of any real importance, they would have already released it.

I was interested to read about Podesta's traditional, but recently-debunked opinions on making risotto.

Do you know the difference between unsecured and uncertified by the government?

No, they are both just regular human beings.

Trump at his rally today:

Trump: "I would like to make a major announcement....I will fully accept the results of the election......"

Me: "Looks like he listened to how destructive that moment was in the debate"

Trump: "IF I WIN!"

Me: "I guess not..."
