  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You don't remember the 2000 election?

Yes you can challenge an election in court.
I was. at the time, at an age where oversea elections were outside of my sphere of interest. I remember something about a court because the result was so extremely close, but this election doesn't look close at all.

Well that just means that he'll be on shaky legal ground to challenge it if it's not very close.

But, we're talking about one of the most litigious individuals that has ever existed here.

It all went according to Hillary's plan. I had predicted this would happen, I have been saying it from the beginning. Trump is a shill for hill, hired/persuaded into helping her get in.

Maybe, but what about if Trump is more interested in making money post election and keeping his hardcore base? His actions would be exactly the same, all pundits agree he hit many republican talking points.

Well, the Republicans voted for him as their candidate. He hasn't changed his tone since that. Do you think that a shill for hillary is the thing republicans desired?

So you have never planned on voting for him? Such insight!

Trump: "No one respects women like I do"

Clinton: Discusses policy

Trump: "Such a nasty woman"

I think Trump is right. No one does respect women like he does - and thank God for that.

This is one of those things where if you went into it supporting Clinton, then Clinton won. If you went into it supporting Trump, then Trump won. At this late stage of the game, with all the news, campaign ads, social media, the previous 2 debates and all the primary debates, there aren't any "undecideds". (Well, maybe there are 2 or 3 people who just don't know yet......Really?)

I mean, are there people who were going to vote for Hillary, but something said in tonight's debate made them do a 180 and decide to vote for Trump, (and visa-versa)? I don't think so.

Wallace tried to let him off the "rigged election" stuff. Trump refused. Even gave a second chance. And....Trump refused again.

Listen to the commentary, like it was made for this debate. Hilarious.

This election is going to be rigged by a bunch of inner city riggers according to Trump.

Trump should learn that African Americans don't just live in inner cities.

Trump loves talking about how horrible the inner cities are. I think he is trying to make his his supporters feel like they are still above minorities socially. Trump is saying "My supporters lives may be poor as they fall behind the rest of us, but at least they aren't getting shot at on the way to the store."

Wallace tried to save Trump from the headlines that will follow in the morning. Pence, Rubio (and others running), Republican governors and Republican secretaries of state have been clear that there is NOT widespread election fraud, and that the election will not be rigged. All have called for accepting the will of the people.

Per CNN who has tweeted back and forth with Republicans running in swing states, many Republicans are quite upset with this remark (and call to arms).

And what will be the effect on his base? Will they more likely to vote when Trump says that the system is rigged and their votes are not likely to matter?

Trump needed to have debate that moved key voters in swing states. Now, the discussion will be whether trump will win in AZ, UT and TX.

Don't know how this reply has anything to do with what I said. It's a total non-sequitur.

For that conspiracy to work it means that Trump and Hillary know what Republicans want more than Republicans.
