ctay,
It sounds like this woman thinks she can run things while there is not Pastor. There are procedures that are followed when a Pastor leaves. The circuit counselor will be involved as well as the District President. The congregation, along with the circuit counselor will make a decision who will serve as the vacancy Pastor. Maybe a review of what happens in the call process is in order. Sounds like an important one is that a Pastor will fill and is called a vacancy Pastor. This Pastor is there until a Pastor is called and accepts that call.

I am wondering if this woman thinks that who fills in now, will be the Pastor. I also think it would be a good idea to talk with her about her fears and if that does not help, go to the elders. If, after doing what needs to be done and she still feels strongly that she can not remain, then it may be that she would be better served and serve better in another congregation.

One does need to remember that it is not suppose to be the Pastor filling the pulpit that is the reason we attend worship, rather that the Gospel is being preached and taught in truth and purity and that the sacraments are likewise being administered. That can be done by Pastors who we personally do not like.

No, Choclate Cake! Yummm!!!!!!

Mmm, I love German choclate cake, but I'mtrying to watch how much sugar I eat. My family has a history of diabetes and I want to avoid it if I can, problem is my vorachious appitite :yum:

Now a good steak is impossible to pass up, especially if it is grilled or broiled. Yum Yum :yum:

I'm making hamburgers and fries for supper. We need a new grill. I've been trying to make myself get some pictures ready of the trip we made out to Bankhead forest last weekend so I can show them off. I'm getting closer to getting something up on my webpage.

But of course. It's all medium rare in this house and salt, pepper & garlic are ALL that is ever needed on grilled steak.
My sourdough bread olive oil dip would satisfy any garlic lover's palate. :yum: I use several cloves, and it is guaranteed to keep you from being kissed for the next week or so. :p

Hey! You can't beat BBQued, but here in Michigan we get something you don't have. Its called called cold weather as in "winter" so broiled might be a good alternative, so's we don't catch pneumonia ;)

Ahh----garlic---I aim to offend. I don't need friends when I have garlic..........side order of grilled onions to. Checks in the mail :)

That is definitly the way to grill steak. Sear it and then let them smoke slowly..............email so it doesn't get cold. If you send it snail mail it might be too aged to eat.

Where do you folks get these wonderful emoticons???

I love to do the burnt offerings... uh, ahem, Bar-B-Que as well. My favourite is mesquite charcoal. Not that briquette fake either, the real deal.:D It was fun a few years ago here when I used to have my little Webber on top of the wood stove on the porch. I could cook and enjoy the view at the same time.
I absolutely refuse however, to eat the entrails of the animal. No heart, tripe, testicals, or any other junk like that. It's dog food to me. Literally, my wife and I used to raise our own. I really miss that quality.:sigh:
