Yea I guess but waiting is getting to be a premium at my age. I also have "skads" of ladies to pick from out here. I can name two........uhh maybe one........ok, none. Hmmm.....God's gonna have to pick someone up somewhere in the radius of 50 miles and dump them in my lap.

Well, there you go. Next time, wait for God to drop the right woman on your head. You know what they say...."when you least expect it".

Hmmm. LOL:D Well if that's the case, since it's been twenty years, I can only assume that the Lord doesn't want to inflict me on some poor unsuspecting woman.;)

By the by, good morning everyone. I've got the kettle on, anyone for a cuppa? I'll be mother!

I get creative when I do have to eat them. I turn my frying pan into a wok and hope everything doesn't burn. A little dash of soy and lots of butter. Coupled with a steak I couldn't ask for anything better.

I can't keep any carbs in the house othewise they make me feel like a magician and I try to make them dissapear instantly. If I do go into a carb frenzy I get semisweet bakers chocolate and gorge...............

Yum! Veggies :)

We eat a lot of veggies around here since my daughter doesn't eat meat! So, we have lots of salads, stir fry (cooked with olive oil), baked eggplant, and bags of baby carrots! Our dog is on a diet so the vet told us to feed her baby carrots instead of treats. It's working...she's lost 2 pounds :)

All this talk about food is making me hungry. I got some pork steaks out in the frezzer that need some attention. I think a BBQ is in order since it is gonna get up to 73 today.

Where's the briqettes..................

If tonight wasn't going to be so busy, with church and all, and it weren't drizzling, I'd be grilling some lamb chops. :yum:

Is anyone else cooking lamb for Easter? I'm going to attempt a shoulder roast now that my rosemary is blooming and I have replenished my mint jelly supply.

Vitamins, Rad. Veggies are something I have to force myself to eat throughout the day.
Cookies are so much more convenient!

I used to eat tons of cookies and cake, but that had too stop, now my biggest weakness is ice cream.

Veggies? I like'em and potatoes are my favorite :yum: I also love squash and peas and beans and...................... well, there ain't much I won't eat :D

I haven't had lamb since I was a kid. My neighbors used to raise them. I think they only cooked the old bucks cause they were so tuff you could hardly chew them. I love wild game, nest comes fish and chicken and turkey, after that beef. Don't care much for pork, but my bride does so we eat it often enough ;)

Well the BBQ was a sucess----at least I thought so. Found the hot sauce with cayenne and garlic in it and added it to the BBQ sauce and......walla....epicurian delight. Now I have to restock my hot sauce. 2 weeks ago I had ten bottles........now I have 2.

Now to light up a cigar and all is right with the world.....hmmmm

We usually have ham for Easter as well.

Does anyone ever go out to an Easter buffet instead of staying at home? We haven't done it in years and I asked my husband if we could this year and he didn't feel like it (his wallet said no).
