Well, this is the second try on this... These are pictrures I took a few weeks ago for George's sister:

It snowed rather a bit today. Thankfully it didn't stick. Luckily, the tomatoes and peppers are still in the greenhouse.

I need to get my husband to instal that flashdrive thing. I read the caption though potteross, looks entertaining. Sorry about the employment situation all, hope something breaks soon. Yes, we're in the same boat. Not getting any easier either.

Those crocuses sure did bloom quick LC, weren't they your late bloomers? Trees here have done bloomed quiltangel. Shade already. It's pretty but the humidity is climbing, I don't much care for that.
Yes my crocuses did bloom quick- they just popped up and started blooming! I took several pics- one of these days I'll try to upload a few here.

My crocuses are blooming now. The daffodils are up and some are showing buds. When the crocuses are gone, the violets will fill in until something else starts blooming. I have 8 or 9 colors of violets, including yellow. They keep crossbreeding so I never know what will come up. We are starting to have some nice spring weather. It was near 70 today. Tiger started soccer today, Bear had his first track meet yesterday. Hubby is happy for some nice walking weather. And I managed to catch a nasty cold and spent all day yesterday and most of today sleeping. Once yesterday I woke up to find Tiger taking my temperature. Bless his little heart. But the big news around here is that The Birthdays are coming. Tiger and Bear both have birthdays next week, on Tuesday and Wednesday. They'll be 6 and 18.

I've been busy all day making Hummingbird food, filling the feeders, washing dishes (yuk!), tilling the garden and put a new valve on the water tank so that I don't have to climb the hill. I put the new valve in because climbing that hill bothers my knee. In fact, my knee is really bothering me a lot today. Not enough to keep me down though.;)

You know, I found out recently that Schwans, the frozen food company, is a Lutheran organization. :idea1: That means we really are the 'frozen chosen' (LOL)!:D:D:D:smirk:
Oh my yes. Our Bethany College would be nothing without the generosity of Marvin Schwan. He has also given much to our Synod, especially for outreach. I believe Thoughts of Faith has a lot of funding from Schwans, although I could be wrong.

Well, the old knee had me laid up all day today. I went out a little while ago and took these pictures of the tulips for those of you in the still-frozen north. If I'd have taken them on Tuesday, they'd have had snow dusted on them.

At first Stude, I thought the flowers weren't real. Thought you had painted them in. But then I looked closer and found them to be very real. I've never seen tulips in the ground before, only in the grocery store. They're incredible! Hope you're doing better this morning and throught today.

We had a storm come through sunday night/early monday morning, there were trees down in areas, I thought I would go to the lake and check there, I wasn't expecting trees down or as many trees down as I thought if there was any
They said a gravity wave caused it.
