Welcome RZ- glad to have you here! Yippee it's Friday and I have the weekend off (Vicar is playing for me on Sunday- he's soooooo very nice!) So I get to actually sing in church on Sunday!

I've been sick for nearly three weeks. Started as a head/chest cold and turned into the flu. I don't know what this flu-bug is, but nearly everyone around here has had it and it just lingers. I don't have the flu symptoms anymore, but I've been just 'blah' for days. My voice is just starting to come back.

Hope you get to feeling better soon, Rev! Have you been able to preach on Sundays?

I just heard on the news last night that the flu is just starting around here, so if people haven't gotten their flu shot yet they still should- if they didn't get sick already...

The house hasn't been to bad.

When my DH has Fridays off he always cleans house. If it wasn't for him our house would really be a mess! I try to clean, but working everyday makes it difficult to keep things clean at home. I don't feel like cleaning when I get home at night.

Mom always made Saturday her cleaning day, when I was a kid. Floors got washed, vaccuumed, dusting got done. My Saturdays are always busy with everthing else I didn't have time to do all week- the day is gone before I even have a chance to think about cleaning!

Prayers for the bugs to stay away from your house! I have been fortunate so far this year, DH had some nasty stuff a couple weeks ago, same time as my boss did, but fortunately I was spared.

That'll be a crazy day! Plan on resting for a few days afterward.

We did that a few weeks ago (still had to throw a considerable amount of stuff away) and are now 100% out of the house, waiting for renters to come in the first of the March.

a little bit like what I've had. I felt pretty sick for a few days, but now its mainly constant sneezing and runny nose. I thought I fixed the problem when I cleaned my humidifier and changed my furnace filter, but I was wrong.

Hope you feel better soon.

PS ( try a strong drink of brandy (3-5 shots mixed with Vernors) before you go to bed, this is the only thing that helps me as I can't take anti-biotics anymore)

Lots of weird stuff this winter. I make myself a large cup of tea and honey to drink every morning while I read, and at least one day a week I loose all whats in my stomach, but never get sick
