Hope all feel better this morning. Arthritus hurts so much. I have had a problem with the radial nerve, I guess that's how it's spelled. The nerve from the elbow extending down into the hand. They insisted on some kind of surgery, but at the time I didn't even know it was a problem. It hasn't been until maybe this past year I've noticed it- sometimes. I have arthritus in my knees, now that hurts. Haven't found anything that really works for that. Aging is an interesting process.

Must be going around. I've had a nasty cold the past few days and I don't remember having such a hard time breathing with any other cold. At least, now, I'm mostly coughing and a bit congested off and on, so I can function.

Take it easy, QA. There's no point in pushing yourself and making it worse.

Thank, QA. I'm not 100%, but still 100% better than I was yesterday.

We leave this weekend and I'll be OK to fly by then. I just pray my daughter doesn't catch it. That's a loooong flight to be miserable on. Thankfully, she has no trouble sleeping on the flights, which means, she sleeps on me.

Aww, thats sweet. I think its wonderful when teenagers still feel comfortable showing close relationships in public. It also shows good parenting

Did you see my post to Seajoy about the simple excercize that may help? I'm not sure of course it will help you but its easy to do.

I've been fighting artritis for a long time. My doctor tells me excercize and stretching is the best thing, which I agree, but excercize isn't always easy to do. One thing I found that helps me for my hands is to rubb in Therogezic before I go to bed, or just as I am setting in my chair at night, but for backs stretching is about the best thing. I have one of those large excercize balls that I lay on backwards and really stretch things out, plus I do simple stretching excercizes during the day.

I alos live on large doses of Motrin, but am thinking about switching to Arthrotec, they both help. Best wishes with yours and all here who have it.

Haven't ever heard of Arthrotec Jim, is that OTC? Yes motrin, I have ample supply of that. Streaching is the best possible preventative idea although during outbreaks of pain can be very difficult to deal with. I hate the small amount of fluid that gets around me knee when it's a really bad spurt. I remember when my grandmother would rub Ben Gay on her joints and I would cover my eyes with my shirt because they stung so bad. Now I'm guessing I'm going to have to use similar stuff.

Redman, I concur. I still encourge my grandaughter to do dance and do gymnastics or any sport other than watching Hannah Montana and this High School Musical kareoke game. Funny how they promote exercise yet fail to tell us that when injured it can come back in our later years to be our very own weather man.

Arthrotec is a prescription ansid I believe, its supposed to be safer on the stomach per my doc, and it does work, but if you try it get your doc to give you a strong enough dose, otherwise its worthless.

I think bengay is Ok for sore muscles like when you over do it in work or exercize but has little affect on my A, but I know everyone is different heh? Thank goodness, I'd hate to see a bunch of Jim's running around, ugg
