That's funny, Stude. We picked out wedding service hymns today, but that site didn't come up. I like lutheran-hymnal.com.

Thing I don't like about that site is it ignored the ELS Hymnary (Evangelical Lutheran Hymnary) Guess we're too small to be noticed...

Thanks Revrand. The arrangement is in a very odd minor though. Perhaps it's just the midi that's causing it, but the music almost sounds off-key.

Yep, it's about 37 here right now and rain expected all day...changing to snow this evening and snow all day Monday.

I do too, except for the fact that around these parts, the first snow means lots of accidents because people are stupid here and do not know how to drive when it snows.

We already had our first "snow", even though the snow melted by 10am. However, almost every major freeway in and out of Detroit had accidents and most of the on/off ramps had been closed off at one point in time or another...all within a five hour time frame.

They don't call it the 696 speedway for nothing, I s'pose.

Filo, stay in Ames until they get those roads cleared. I heard southern & eastern Iowa is supposed to get 3 to 5 inches, and everyone has forgotten their winter driving skills since last winter. We got about an inch in northern Iowa.

I'm traveling back and forth between central Mo and western NE and no snow as of yet.

No measurable snow up here on the mountain yet either. It has been getting down into the low thirties lately though. My kerosene heater needs batteries and I need to get them and it in the greenhouse and fired up so that the orchids don't suffer from the cold. So far, so good though. The Petunias are blooming in there, so it can't be too very cold.

Has anyone else been following the news from Mumbai (Bombay)? Shocking, just shocking. That poor little boy. His parents, likely killed in front of him and drenched in their blood... just... shocking.

Somehow the winds blew the snow right on past us over night. Can't say I am too disappointed about that.

I haven't checked up on the Mumbai situation for a few days now. Probably should again. Such a horrible attack.
