My eldest son has moved here from St. Louis. He is amazed that there is no snow here.

Just got back from the Dr, I have sinusitis and bronchitis, they gave me a breathing treatment there and 2 shots Ouch. One in each hip. I think I may go lay down for awhile

They gave me some antibiotics and an inhaler too so with all that hopefully I'll get better

HOpe you're feeling better soon, Ctay. Our family has been ill, too. Upper respiratory stuff that hit Hunter right before Thanksgiving, and hit me the day before (I slept through the holiday). Now Hunter is suffering flu... and was up most of the night crawlling from bedroom to bathroom. I was on the phone with the advice nurse in the middle of the night, trying to determine whether to take him to the hospital or not. But finally he was able to crawl back to bed and eventually dropped off to sleep.

He's feeling somewhat better today, but he's not completely back to normal.

There's a lot of stuff going around. *comfort ctay*

Did you have flu shots? I think we're going to get ours next week. It can't hurt.

I was supposed to have mine back in October but just kept putting it off. I'm supposed to get a pneumonia one as well. (stupid cancer. stupid diabetes )

I wonder, is it too late in the season to get one?

I don't know. The flu hasn't hit here yet and it's finally supposed to freeze tomorrow night, so we're probably due.

Does is depend on the area? They only started offering the jabs here in October, so I'm sure you can still get one, unless they're out of them.

Good Morning everyone!

I woke up to a "winter wonderland" both outside and INSIDE the house this morning. Snow is falling outside and our furnace broke sometime during the night. Lovely. *sigh*

Exactly what I was thinking.

It's supposed to snow here everyday, for the next 6 days. Hubby is leaving for Michigan on wednesday. Hope I don't get stranded in my plugged up driveway. We do have three different neighbors who I'm sure would be willing to save me.

Also, it bothers me that hubby will be driving in this mess.
