This one lady is trying to get me to come back to this one bible study, they picked out another Beth Moore. I keep telling her no, I didn't care for the first one. I told her that and the fact the Beth Moore was Baptist, she told me I need to get over it. I guess I just need to come out and tell her There's quite a few differences in between Lutheran and Baptist teachings. She made me feel like I was wrong. Am I?

Who's right, who's wrong? Only Christ himself will be able to tell us in the end. As to the disagreement with your Baptist friend? Tell her that Martin Luther didn't have much patience with the Ana-Baptists and disagreed with them five hundred or more years ago. Ask her if she's more knowledgeable than him. Tactfully, of course.:o

That's true, maybe wrong was the wrong word to use, maybe trying to make me feel guilty or something. Actually is a Lutheran womens bible study using Beth moore who is Baptist. There's a lot of difference between the 2 denominations like baptism and the Lords Supper.

That quite possible. It was home made bean soup which is not my favorite but was still pretty good, I actually wanted another bowl but that was all that was left. I guess that was enough to brew up a good load of gas anyway

Seajoy, send me some of that chicken soup! I spent the weekend sick in bed and I could use some. And I'll have a couple of Studeclunker's snickerdoodles for dessert. Now all I need is a big glass of milk to go with them.

We don't ever seem to get any Mormons around here. We have Jehovahs Witnesses, though.
