Anyone here been diagnosed with Seasonal Affective Disorder? My doctor decided to add that to my list of disorders yesterday. I was in his office bawling like a baby. The sun had not shined in my area of WI in over a month. We have ordered the appropriate light for me to sit next to.
In the mean time, God sent me a beautiful sunny day today, and I feel great!

Thanks to those who prayed for me yesterday. God has answered our prayers in His way. With the sun and His Son.

I don't have it, but know of a lot of online friends who do!!! You aren't alone. The light WILL help you a lot!!!

The school bus crash in Minnesota is near my home town.
4 kids were killed. Two were brothers in 3rd and 5th grade. Their sister had died during surgery a few years ago. My niece's boyfriend was best man in their oldest brother's wedding this past saturday. Their are only 2 of 5 children left in the family.

Another family lost their daughter who was in 5th grade. Their son is also in critical condition from this crash.

One of the teachers at the school lost a son as well.

My brother is on the school board for this school. My nephew is speaking at a prayer service today in one of the local churches at about 10am.

I am stunned at what has happened. Please pray for all the families involved. May our dear Lord give them comfort in the salvation won for them in Jesus, while this small community greives.

My heart goes out to all affected by this tragedy. My prayers as well.

WOW..I heard about the crash at school today..I kinda brushed it off..what a tendency there is to not realize the tradgic aspects of these things. My prayers are with the families. Did someone start a thread in the prayer requests forum yet about this? There should be if there isn't..

When I was a schoolbus driver, this kind of thing was my worst nightmare. These crashes keep drivers up nights all over the country. This crash details just how important the drivers are to the district and the children. It's funny... often the janitor is given better treatment by the school district than their School Bus Drivers. It's sad, really, but there you are...

How very sad. I will offer prayers for thoise families. I pray that The Lord may grant them sweet comfort in knowing they are only fallen asleep and they will one day be re-united

I have found out some more on the situation from family and friends. All of the children that died were from Christian families. 3 ELCA, 1 AoG. The little girl had just played piano at her ELCA church this past sunday. Her brother who was in critical condition should be ok. He had much glass imbedded in his body, and needed surgery to remove it from his eyes. The surgery went well from what people have heard. He is my cousin's son's best friend. Thank you all for your prayers. There are still several other children in the hospital. I do not know their conditions. 14 were injured in total.

It was not the bus driver's fault, though he is taking it very hard. He is a kind and good-hearted 52yr old man. The
accident was caused by a 23 year old woman who ran a stop sign at a fast speed. There was a witness in a truck behind the bus.

poor 23 year old girl too...she must feel horrible.

A good reminder to actually STOP at the stop sign. Most cars I see when I am crossing the street near a stop-sign, do not actually stop. They just slow down a bit. GGRRRRRRRR
