Here in WI, we are getting 4" more today, with a high of 17. I don't think I can take much more of this. I'm not kidding.
Last night when I came home it -2. I can't even laugh about this anymore. Sun...what sun?

I just couldn't handle cold like that for very long, but I'm guessing that's why we have so many winter visitors here from oop north. It sure has increased our weekly attendance at church.

My fibro can't handle it anymore. I asked my hubby to move me to AZ this week. He said his calendar is full.

Well, New Mexico is closer and more affordable, so tell him you'll compromise.

Here in Iowa we'll probably have 2 more months of winter, then the 'mud season' for another 3 or 4 weeks, a couple weeks of beautiful spring weather then a hot & humid summer. Somebody please tell me why I live here???

Well, I wish California could be described as affordable. Still, with the housing bust in Arizona and Nevada, homes should be really inexpensive. Sedona and Flagstaff are really pretty with four seasons. Phoenix has gotten crowded and expensive. N. Mex. isn't too very bad, too hot for me though.

It's too bad that Lewiston has gotten so expensive. The area has a lot going for it. We have four seasons without the extremes being so... extreme. Our lows are around the teens and highs around a hundred or so. The extremes are, at worst a month or so each a year. Usually July to August with a few days in Fall and January to Febuary with a few days in December and March. The rest of the year is in the 70's and 80's. Quite mild, quite nice. The scenery is beautiful, air clean, good water, fishing great, and hunting too. Just... expensive. Pity that, we could use a good H.V.A.C. man around here.

Our property taxes are cheap here. Housing is reasonable, food keeps going up every day seems like, I'm about ready to put a calf in the pasture to fatten up and kill

Angie, I'd say come and live in Cincy with me...the guy next door is selling his house and it's a really NICE house...but we're freezing here too. The weather was icky this morning, got mushy this afternoon and it's going to freeze again tonight. We're under a "Winter Storm Warning" until 1 am Wed morning.

I hope everyone that was feeling badly is feeling MUCH better! Porter, I'm really glad your headache was going away. (I think I caught it. LOL)

Angie, I'd say come and live in Cincy with me...the guy next door is selling his house and it's a really NICE house...but we're freezing here too. The weather was icky this morning, got mushy this afternoon and it's going to freeze again tonight. We're under a "Winter Storm Warning" until 1 am Wed morning.

I'd say come live in Phoenix near me as we have nicer weather than Cincinatti, 300+ days of sunshine a year, but we don't have the seasons. Some people like snow and cold and for those people they are free to go up north to Flaggstaff. LOL However, since cheering on the Bengals does not sit well with you, I can not ask you to move to AZ, because cheering on the Cardinals is something that should never be forced upon anyone. That's just wrong. Man our team sucks. LOL

What did you guys do with the Cardinals? They were a good team when we had them in St.Louis. Well 20 years ago they were.

We just didn't know how to take care of them. Augie Busch Jr. was such a skinflint when he owned them and ran them into the ground. Then another group got them and tried but then sold the Cards.

I think I'd just take my Packers with me wherever I go! Phoenix is probably in our future. It depends on how bad the fibro gets.
