I know we have a lot of guests lately, but I think we should use it as an opportunity to show God's love. Sometimes people ask questions because they are trying to resolve inner turmoil. They may not be sure about what they believe, even though they seem to be arguing for their side with passion. They might know the answers already, but sometimes a kind word of truth can make a lightbulb turn on in someone's head.Go ahead....make my day....

Really, I love the EO as brothers and sisters.....but why do they feel this need to come in and sneekily try and get their EO points across to us. Does anyone here really think they are asking questions because they don't know the answers?

Oh brother....hardly.I think it's quite obvious why the EO's have chosen this time. They knew you were away, so it was time to come out and play. I'm tellin' ya, Seajoy, they fear you. Clearly, when Seajoy is away, the EO's come out to play.
They are much more well-versed than I in the Book of Concord and such. They consider me an idiot, and they are probably right.

Seajoy, you know I love ya! I know it's hard not to let your own emotions and life experience get in the middle of a discussion. There have been lots of times that reading through threads has cause my blood pressure to rise. I do think it is possible though that some of these folks have lingering issues that were not resolved when they joined the EO church. Sometimes the ones that seem to fight the hardest are the ones who are the most unsure of where they stand.
