Having suffered from depression, I know some of the feelings that accompany it. It is amazing what I thought and how I perceived others' feelings/thoughts toward me. It isn't always reality, but still real, if you know what I mean.





I know you mean well with the advice, but that first sentence stands out to me as a red flag. I heard it often in my deepest depression; sometimes when I heard someone say that to me, it made me want to crawl into a hole and hide, or respond "If I could snap out of it, I would have... long ago!!!" or both.

I think the rest of your advice is very much on target. Well done.

Something like this for another person might very well have sent them over the edge. I was reading into Seajoys style of writing when I wrote that and for some reason thought she could handle it. She thanked me in the PM.

Today is much better, thank you. God has heard the prayers of my friends. I have also been listening to the reminders of what to do to feel better...from my friends.

Well, hubby just got called out on an emergency fixit job....that another company messed up earlier today. Poor hubby, always working....now I'm here by my lonesome, just me and the beagle.

I just found out tonight that my husband will be traveling out of state for a few days next week on business. You guys might get pretty sick of me hanging out here for company.

Bye, everybody, see you next week. We're heading out on vacation tomorrow. Hubby's family is having a big family reunion this weekend & we're headed out a couple days early to help his folks get ready. Tiger's excited about going to Grandma's. It sounds like the farmhouse will be overflowing, so we're going to camp in the yard in a tent. 100 relatives, 2 bathrooms, and a forecast for 95 degrees. BIL's BBQ ribs, corn on the cob, and fireworks in the evening.

My character had to get shoes--they were out of toes, and no bare feet allowed outside at the farm. At least the armor shop still had some sneakers.

Indeed. Lest remember to thank God for all the folks who serve us and keep our country free. Lest also pray that our govenrment may wake up and see the road we are on is not free. If only we could stick to the ideals of our constitution!
