I was diagnosed with RA by a primary care doc about 10 years ago but the doc never did anything about it but give me Feldene which never helped. My new doc (that I've been seeing for about 10 years now...) never followed up on it. Then, at my last appointment, we were talking about how tired I've been lately (more so than the usual 'you just had chemo of course you're going to be tired' stuff) and how I ache EVERYWHERE. Joints, back, hips, feet, neck...you name it, it aches.
So, she said a rhum. would be able to diagnose fibro, chronic fatigue or RA.
It's just a matter of not having insurance or I'd have gone before now. *G*
