We have too many people on our wedding guest list. The majority of them are friends/relatives of GCC's mom. I've asked her to cut it down, but she doesn't want to offend anyone.

Cost issues aside, I get very nervous when strangers invade my personal space (ie, hugs), so the wedding reception will be a task...

My wife and I didn't even get to eat our own wedding cake . . . because as soon as it was served everyone was trying to talk to us and we where completly unable to even get to the cake.

when i married my late husband, the only cake we got was the piece we cut to feed to each other - that was it.....we had intended to save the top layer for our 1st anniversary, but after everybody left and we were finally alone, we decided to just eat the top layer that night, LOL.....

i can't really see Rev and i saving the top layer either, LOLOL.....

Because our wedding was in Flordia but we where moving to Northern Indiana. . . My in-laws still have our top layer despite the fact that our first anniversary has already passed several months ago.

Honestly I don't know. I've never had cake that's been frozen for almost 2 years.

I'm not that big of a fan of cake anyways.
