Or you could go shopping, Lambi. :)

Meet the newest, and most long-awaited, member of our family, Caleb Alexander, born last night, US time.

Everyone is well and very, very happy. Thank you, Jesus.

Congratulations! He shares a birthday with my husband.

Another rainy day here. If it stops for a while, hubby may be able to get the mulch spread in the flowers. If not, there's always cleaning the garage or XBox with Tiger. Lego games are big at our house, mainly Star WArs, Indiana Jones, or Harry Potter. And it's Westerns Wednesday on MoviePlex. I'd love to spend a rainy day reading or crocheting but I have too many other things to do.

We have had rain for the past 3 days, and it looks like more rain for today. I'm ready for some sunshine - and my lawn could use a cutting.

This is the summer of getting visitors for my husband and I. We have friends from WI coming in early July. Then hubby's mother and sister are coming in mid July. Late July brings our friend from Australia. I would like to hire a chef, but that is not possible. Perhaps Stude would like to come and cook for me. I am just not very creative when it comes to cooking. I guess my food tastes ok, but it is quite boring, I think.

Son and daughter-in-law plan to come out in August.

Had to ride my bike in the rain yesterday! ugh. Actually, it wasn't raining when I started, just cloudy and windy. Riding in the rain can be dangerous, but I was careful. I'm hoping today it stops enough so I can get back out there.

Our wedding anniversary was yesterday...21 years...so we went out to eat and well, we were little piggies. Everyone else in the restaurant had take home baggies, but we ate EVERYTHING on our plates! LOL

Which is why you were eligible for dessert! ^_^

Thanks for posting you guys!

2 of the forums I visit besides TCL are For New Christians and Christian Advice (no debating in either forum allowed) and sometimes I get SUPER FRUSTRATED with some of the responses people receive. And since no debating is allowed, what's a girl to do some times?

Hey, if anyone is bored today...http://www.christianforums.com/t7571367/

I know I'll get a lot of flack for my posting on this thread, but hey, that's how it goes in this place.
I generally have to stay out of those kind of boards. It's bad for my blood pressure. At least on GT you have mature Christians who usually know why they believe what they believe. On Q&A boards you have new believers who don't know yet why they believe what they believe, not to mention people who teach all kinds of false and harmful doctrines to these impressionable baby Christians.

My heart really goes out to that young woman. She has a hard road to tread. She seems to agree with you Zec. Hence her concern about what happened. If her child answered an altar call, she should have been informed before anything was done. This kind of thing is very problematic. Yet a lot of Churches do it out of fear the parents will yank the children out of VBS and not allow them to hear the word any more.

Sounds to me like the child reacted positively to the Gospel and answered an altar call. In the Baptist group this means saying the 'Sinners Prayer'. However, I have to wonder if she has been or will be baptised? Will her Mother allow the Child's faith to be consumated or will she crush it out of fear? Her post sounds like the latter would as easily occur as the former. I do hope we all keep her in our prayers that this precocious little girl can lead her mother to trust and faith in Christ.:prayer::crossrc:
