Emmy's today :) Me and the hubby will be all decked out in our finest. I will post pics (especially if I win the statue).

You're Attending?? As a participant?? But... but... you're not even a flaming liberal!

LOL, thanks for that. I've always wanted to use those jaw-droppers!

Didn't win, but just to be nominated is an honor (especially for a designer) so I have a certificate for that :)

Made it safely to San Antonio, and even made it to church this morning.

It's really hot here...

Yeah, that's one of things I don't miss, but SA is great. You're close to my old stompin' grounds, Mel. Good food, shopping and outdoor activities there and I hope you get time to enjoy it.

Which church did you attend? There is a fabulous LCMS downtown.

Shepherd is probably easier to find and closer to the medical centres, but Mt Calvary is good, as well. It's further east (following 410) and inside the loop, but there is a great Central Market (HEB) nearby with food from all over the globe. You can imagine it's one place my husband insists we stop by when we visit.

He is considering Orthodoxy...he has a thread about it over at TAW. I wonder what he doesn't like about Lutheran theology.

He belives in Apostolic Succession

He's very strongly considering Orthodoxy. . . We are debating Apostolic succession in the Debate an Orthodox Christian section in the thread title "Sola Scriptora try to find this in the bible among other things." And he's pretty much on their side on all accounts.
