Happy Anniversary, Aibrean! Hubby and I will celebrate 20 this summer.

It's snowing here again today. We had 2 days this week above freezing!!! At least we got rid of some of the ice on the sidewalk. We've been kindly asked to remove ourselves from the house this afternoon. Realtor's showing the house this afternoon and again on Monday. Maybe we'll get that lovely yellow Victorian yet. Great location, only 3 blocks from church. Anyway, the kids should be having a great afternoon at the sledding party at Pastor's house.

Hey LB, there are tons of beautiful Victorian homes in the town where I live. When these homes were being built there were apparently more millionaires per capita here than anywhere else in the US. Some are downright mansions with servant's houses and carriage houses that are built to match, with all the trimmings. People come from all around just to see them.

In one week - I leave for Australia! Yikes! I'm so excited. Hope to see a roo, koala, or maybe a dingo. It's been a real long time since I could be excited about something good happening. You guys may get sick of hearing about this trip.

i, for one, can't WAIT to hear everything exciting you have to tell us about this trip!! perhaps you'll even get to see a wallabee!! i'll miss you while you're gone, but so unbelievably excited for you!!

aibrean - a very happy (belated) anniversary to you and mr. aibrean!! many many more blessed years to you.....(and your dinner sounded so delicious, i almost drooled a little!!)

yes - i realize that for me, it's 4AM.....and once again, i can't sleep.....i never knew not being able to sleep would be such a lovely, beautiful thing....and all y'all probably really ARE getting sick of hearing about that!!

Quilty, looks like you'll get your snow day. Six to eight inches expected tomorrow.

The house we hope to get is on a street where the local well-to-do lived 100 years ago. The one we are looking at is small compared to others in the neighborhood, but it still has 5!!! bedrooms. Its assessed value is actually a little lower than our current house. It should end up being close to an even trade, value-wise. One thing we like about the neighborhood, besides location, is that there are a lot of kids close to Tiger's age, so he'll have playmates. Our current neighborhood has kids a lot older or a lot younger, and seems to be mostly girls who are in the boys are icky stage.

Am enjoying this nice winter storm. NOT! Roads today were not too bad, but were worsening as the day went on.

Well, campus closed at 4:30 today so that will push a microbiology exam to next Monday. Won't open until 10 tomorrow which means that the Dosage Calculation exam is pushed back to Thursday. Depending on any messages I receive from another prof, I may not drive over for the the last half of a class as the 10 a.m. start time shortens that class.

Guess I wanted a snow day.

Campus closed today so am spending the day here at home studying. The winds are sure blowing the snow around and are suppose to do so tomorrow too.

QA - it's blowing snow here SO bad right now - the wind sounds like it's just SCREAMING outside....18* right now, and while it isn't technically "snowing" at this point, the snow that is on the ground is blowing REALLY bad....thank God i got my errands done yesterday, so all i have to do is a school-run to pick up children, and that's IT!! now i just need to make sure we have our flashlight and candles ready, just in case....

sigh.....126 days and counting!!! i don't know how i could be any more excited, but i know i'm going to be impossible to live with as the days get closer!! i couldn't be more thankful to God....

Wow! We saw that many of you were being abused by winter weather again. I can only imagine how tired you must be of the extreme conditions. It's been pretty cold here with a little snow, but nothing like before Christmas. I can't imagine having to go through that as many times as some of you have this winter. Yuk!
