Two days ago the dog woke up at around 5:45AM and started barking. I went through the house and basement but didn't find a thing. Next day the wife said there was an earthquake in Indiana at that exact time and maybe the dog sensed that. Who knows. It's snowing outside and looks a lot like a Hollywood set. The snow is light, sparkling and looks totally fake! Simply too beautiful to be real.Looks like if I'm going to finish clearing that tree off the drive, I'll have to walk out to it.
The dogs woke me by barking around 1:30. Thought it might have been some kind of 'Bad Guy', like maybe a bear. They do show up from time to time here. But no, it was likely just snow dropping out of the trees onto the roof. Turned on the exterior lights and couldn't see any tracks in the snow, so it was likely just an imaginary Bad Guy.
Well, a beautiful way to start the new year, hope all of you had a great time tonight. I'm going back to bed.
Woke up able to talk for the new year! Looking forward to day at home - watching the Rose parade and Rose Bowl. Go Badgers!
Quilty - sorry for your friend's family - but happy your friend is spending new year's with the Lord.
Stude - my beagle hears imaginary bad guys every day. He cries wolf all the time. I don't pay any attention anymore.
I, for one, am glad to see 2010 in the rear view mirror. Things do look brighter for us in 2011. I'm grateful to God for getting us through last year.
In february, we will be traveling to Australia. It has to do with hubby's work - but I get to spend time on the Gold Coast. I told ya 2011 is looking up.
Well I'm feeling tons better today. My fever broke and I just have a lot of congestion (plugged ears).
