Well, my very humble opinion is that mods should be able to move a thread to the forum that it fits in the best, especially amongst the parent forums. Like here, they should be able to move threads about between the main forum and the sub forums. That would go a long ways towards goodwill between the mods and the members.

well, mods CAN do that!! We just don't do it arbitrarily and we usually ask the member about it.

I as an admin probably could've moved it, but ideally it's not my area (I'm the Society Admin) so I refrained from doing anything with the thread.

Ah! Here's the kitchen! Took a bit of looking to find the place again. It's amazing how quickly the spiders move in, this place looks like the Munster's kitchen! 'Scuse me a minitue whilst I wave a broom around and do a bit of dusting.;):p

There, that's the ticket! Shipshape and Bristol fashon, even if it's not my kitchen.:p

Hope you don't mind if I build a fire on the hearth, Sis, this place is a bit drafty and chilly from lack of use.

So, now that we're back from the other forum whilst they have us closed out, how have things been going for all of you? I've been out of touch for a few days.

Here at Pie In The Sky, things have been quiet. George took off for his training with England trucking and left me to hold down the fort. Problem is, there's no visible means of support. Now... which ad does that remind me of? Never mind...:o Anyway, I have to figure some way to get George's Rover Stationwagon sold so that we can pay the mortgage and at least try to get somewhat caught up. Hopefully someone wants the old War-Wagon.

Things have been a bit quiet around here and somewhat off balance since Axle's passing. I got pretty used to being awakend by his booming bark. He would lumber over to my trailer and wake me every morning. Silly old man! I do miss him so... Annie's trying to fill the gap, but she's such a silly puppy still.

One of our sheep has torn his ear and it looks pretty bad. Problem is, the fool is as wild as a March Hare and won't allow me to examine it. I've been watching for infection. As long as none sets in I'll leave him alone. If it does, I'll have to deal with him.

Well after snowstorm # who knows how many, we have had a couple of nicer days. About time. I have been keeping busy with my studies.

Husband had his shoulder looked at and it was determined that he has a "frozen" shoulder. He is getting PT for it.

A frozen shoulder??? I've heard of getting the,'cold shoulder'... Is there something you two need to work out? LOL, sorry, just couldn't help it!:sorry: So, just what is a 'frozen shoulder'? It sounds painful. I do hope the doctors can do something about it soon.

Well, I just spent the day cleaning up the fireplace area of George's house. Gosh, what a mess! I was sweeping off the dirt, almost half an inch thick, if you can believe it, and I found a bunch of quarters and half-dollars! The quarters weren't anything to write home about. The half dollars were interesting though. One was a Kennedy from '64 and the other was a Liberty-Franklin from '52. I almost swept the lot into the bin with all the trash and dirt! One never knows what treasures are lurking in the dust around here. It's kinda like an archealogical dig (LOL)!:p In fact, I've found a ton of pennies. He dumped them into everything in sight. They've all taken up residence in an old coffee pot that lives on the mantel. I'm not putting the bear-rug back down. The thing is patchy and, well... frankly disgusting. Other than that, the area looks great now. Tomorrow I get to spend the day splitting wood. Oh.... Joy!:| An acquaintance in town is out and really needs it.

Sounds like you had an exciting day, Stude. I always wanted to be an archealogist!

Hubby made it home from his business trip. He looks so tired, but went out working again this morning. I am so blessed with that man.

We need to go and pick up our new tub surround for our home back in WI. Oh, guess what everyone....Hubby's boss told him we may get to move back to WI in 6-12 months! They are opening a branch there, and want my husband to run it. I've prayed so hard for this. I hope it's really going to happen. I miss my kids and friends.

Wonderful news Seajoy!!

Feeling very yucky this morning and have lots of homework this weekend. I could put if off, but I won't. Just going to do it in small chunks.

Snowed a little last night so all the dirty snow is white again. It sure doesn't take long to look dirty. Right now, I want the snow to look dirty as that means it hasn't snowed in a couple of days, or more.

Exciting? More like drudgery and annoyance.:p The only reward is that George is going to be gone for a good long time (LOL)!:p:D

What wonderful news, Sis! I hope your Hubby gets the position. Hey, then you may not have to sell the house after all!;)

I decided to add a picture:
