  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What does the bible say about the Ten commandments

  • It is abolished for christians

  • Cristians should keep the Ten Commandments, not to be saved but because they are saved.

  • Jesus kept the Ten commandments so I don't have to keep it.

  • It was for Israel only and not part of the new covenant.

  • Don't care.

  • Christians should only keep some of the Ten Commandments

My point is that just as then---we Gentiles are excluded from the the covenants, promises and excluded from the household of God, unless we are grafted in through Christ!

Back then the gentiles, strangers and foreigners JOINED themselves to the God of Israel (like Ruth did), claiming and putting their faith in the God of Israel as God, entering into the covenant with Him and joining HIS people!

Same thing today. Nothing's changed.

You can't use a misinterpreted verse to hide behind.

SIN=Going against God's instructions.

Sin can not be accounted to someone who did not first receive instruction prohibiting or allowing it.

Common basic Christianity 101.

Gentiles are grafted AMONG believing Israel into the ONE and ONLY Ekklesia of God!

But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in AMONG THEM and became partaker WITH THEM [Romans 11]

I as a wild-olive-branch Gentile am grafted in AMONG Abraham, AMONG David, AMONG Moses, AMONG John the Baptist, AMONG Paul, AMONG Ruth, AMONG all BELIEVERS!

We (Gentiles) are grafted into Abraham..... and grafted in by faith as believers not into Israel at all because Israel did NOT exist till AFTER Abraham that would EXCLUDE him from the picture entirely
