CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I love Wal Mart. It makes me smile too. My fav'rite part? When they give out the smilie stickers.....I usually ask for a bunch to give to unsuspecting l'il ones and grumpy older folks

HIS STRENGTH IS MADE PERFECT IN MY WEAKNESS!
My nieces make me smile. They are 3 and 6 year old girls. Its hard to believe how much influence they have over their grown-up uncle. I dont think any thing in this life has given me greater simple joy. My soon to be 18 year old nephew touches my heart in a different way. Its hard to believe that someone who could do nothing for himself when I first knew him could become so impressively capable.

You know when there's a gorgeous day outside? Where there's sun out, not a cloud in the sky, and a nice, strong, cool breeze? The perfect day out. What makes me smile is when a huge storm comes in on such a day. No joke. The funniest thing.
