Things I learned from LOTR

Just got Return of the King on DVD and some of the lines struck me very funny this time around.

I learned to ask operative questions when venturing into a dark place, like:

1) "What's that smell?"

2) "It's sticky! What is it?"


Anyway, what did you guys "learn" from Lord of the Rings?

I learned that wherever you go, you should announce the name of the place in a loud dramatic voice when you arrive..... The great watchtower of Amon Sul! The walls of Moria! The great dwarven city of Dwarrowdelf! Caras Galdahon! Minas Tirith, City of Kings!

Lol, I learned that hollywood likes to leave out detail. The books were awesome.

If you want a serious answer to the question of what I learned from LOTR...it would probably be something corney like:

Even the smallest person can change the course of the future...

But in terms of "funny" (if that made any sense ) I think I learned to

Never trust an elf!
