I'm just going to point out that in the Apocalypse of John, the Lord dictates letters to the local churches, not individuals. Clearly not a "Jesus-me" relationship, but "Jesus-church-of-which-I-am-a-part".

wow there lionking, i see what your saying, but im not talking bout those sort of relationships. i never said you cant pray with others or that there is only the "Jesus and me" relationship. I know there are other relationships like i said before but the paramount relationship is the "Jesus and me" one. lol im not excluding everyone out of the picture, im just keeping each relationship personal. I know in the bigger scheme of things everybody is under one roof. I just dont focus on that, i keep it personal and worry bout where im at first. Coz nobody else knows whats goin on in my life more than Jesus. Same as i dont know everything that happening in there life. So i dont build on other peoples relationship with Jesus, thats there own job, i cant make them do anything. Same way that they cant build on my relationship with Jesus, coz at the end of the day its personal. As in one on one.

whether Mary had other children with Josef after the birth of her first Son, it is her first Son (and possibly only son) who has redeemed us.

the example of Mary is one of humble submission to God's will for her life, and being chosen for the blessed and wholly unique task of bringing Messiah into the world as a human child. she is the only woman to have brought a child into the world through the Holy Spirit, and was there at our Saviour's birth, dedication, flight into Egypt, childhood, ministry, death upon the cross, and empty tomb. she is certainly unique and blessed, but as she is not God, she does not play a personal role in my Christian life.

one can find many reasons to honor Mary, venerate her, hymn her, and adore her. this is a reverence i reserve for God's Son, and for God the Father.

You know some else that gave birth to Jesus? I don't.

We are to know no man according to the flesh. Mary gave birth to the Messiah and in return had to be born again of the Spirit. Just as any human being needs to enter the Kingdom of God.

Christ has risen and it takes Christ for a Person to be a Christian. The new covenant is in His blood and not in who birthed Him or who handed what down..

Nice, "We are not born to be for ourselves", is what the translation was given as. I would have guessed "to be alone" myself, I think.
